He’s like a who refuses to let go and move on. He enjoys talking to others in a disheartening/condescending tone instead, wants to drag everybody down with him…
People who actually like this particular game have to be wary of Dark Blizzard in what he may say/do to you if you have an opposite narrative then He.
The biggest difference is the fact that POE2 passive tree hits the player all at once right at the begginning of the game where D4 paragons are one board at a time and you arent fooling with them until late game. For a newbie, D4 is easier to settle into because you dont really have to think about much until max level. I will say POE2 is certainly easier for a beginner than POE1 was. They have vastly improved that part of the game, but I dont think it should be simplified anymore because then they will start losing the complexity and deepness that the franchise is known for.
I’m not making stuff up. Its just like when they said drop rates and stuff… its better to be low and then tune them up a little because if drops are really high and they take that away then people get mad.
Suddenly adding gold cost 6 months to a year after people are used to free respecs then people would be pissed and you know this. Also having a respec cost is still testing the game. It already got cut almost in half.
Yeah, I broke my sorc at launch after the nerf to comet. Well not totally but I was broke after. Then I kept playing. Then they lowered the cost. I have 4 characters and I have over a million gold. 3 of those characters are into maps.
No, if you bricked a character because you are broke then it is you that didnt use your gold correctly. I still buy off vendors when I see something. I dont play the market because I dont trade. I traded 1 divine orb for almost 100 exalteds and thats because those suckers dont drop for me. That is the extent of my trading.
I dunno anything about PoE 1 so I couldn’t tell you.
Just cus you bad at a game doesnt mean its cooked. Not everyone like ez mode. Still has 300k concurrent out of 500k after a month. Still #5 global selling game on steam. The 3 games above it are free and the other is steam deck.
Does that mean I am not allowed to answer on a public forum? You shouldnt even need to ask. You seen whats coming from the PTR. They arent going to just suddenly make some new content in a week. Class balance might change a bit from PTR. Thats about it. They been on vacation from the 16th and just now getting back to work lol.
The game is still incredible despite its flaws. Even as a noob you can progress pretty far into the endgame. The biggest advantage you have in that game is knowledge. The more you understand all the systems the more wealth you will accumulate. It’s far deeper than D4.
But that’s ok since D4 markets itself mostly as a casual ARPG and it’s fun to blast some demons and max out your character in a week or two.
I’m personally looking forward to the armoury. That alone will be a huge QOL feature for S7. Oh and caltrops animation getting an update and not forcing your character to do a jump back is huge! I never used that mov because the jump back made the move feel awkward is every build.
Number 1 we should have gotten a complete respec on major skill change patches.
Number 2 your player wealth may not be indicative for most players and even 1 million is nothing when its 10 20 30k a node and you have 100 to do. Try out two builds and ur broke.
Number 3 I bet respect costs are lowered again for retail.
Where did the OP say he’s a casual? I went back for a look but don’t see that or why he gets pigeon holed.
You also say the casual game, made for them. I can see elements of the game and it’s history that would lead you to that opinion. Opinions vary.
Where I think we can find more consensus is that there’s a lot that accommodates the casual, not least of which is templated play thanks to the interwebs of builds. See how accomodating d4 is of the casual not using that
you play the game so poorly if the only thing you care is that one stat you need, instead of actually working with what you can work…You probably follow builds so that’s 1 thing to note.
Also the key paragraph in your post is “it’s useless to me”, not useless to everyone, in diablo 4 most the truck load of items you receive are plain useless period, part of that awesome game design Blizzard developers have.
Gave my opinion about how I don’t like certain restrictions, and made it clear I want Spirit on the two pieces of gear I’m trying to upgrade. Nothing more. I have been working with what I can find this entire time.
Now I do find it hilarious you’re trying to insult me based on how I choose to play the game. This is the elitism people talk about when they say certain players are toxic. Lilith forbid we don’t play according to your rules.
However you’re forgetting one simple fact, in order for you to insult me, I would first have to value your opinion. Play however you like, and I’ll do the same without resorting to schoolyard insults. Good luck out there.
Yeah I dont get the comment. Playing witch, I am relying on spirit for 2 buffs and for my minion count. Im supposed to turn off my buffs or lose like half my minions if I want to upgrade my chest without having spirit?
