Affix did not update

Hello! I salvaged a 2h weapon with a better affix but it did not update in the collections. The affix in the collections stayed the value of a non-2h weapon when there was a large difference in percentage but it did adjust.

I was testing it before I did another one since I have a perfect 1h affix but it did not have the symbol for upgrade if salvaged like the previous one. I’m not sure what to do since it shows it won’t upgrade the value in collections but it’s at max cap. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

You can only upgrade tempers by picking up their related scrolls. The method you described above is how you upgrade aspects, not affixes.

Also amulets multiply the value of aspects by 1.5, 2 handed weapons double their effect. But the codex will still show the original value. Try placing the aspect in question on another 2 handed or an amulet and you will see it increase.

Sorry I meant to say legendary aspect - it seems like the 2h aspect that’s currently in my collections is actually a mid-low value, as opposed to the 1h weapon I have that has highest value possible. However it doesn’t have the upgrade icon available and im afraid it will not update if I salvage it. Have you had a problem like this before?

If the game doesn’t show an upgrade on a specific 2-handed item you found, it usually means you already have a better version of that aspect available.

Here’s how it works:

When you imprint an aspect onto a 2-handed weapon, the aspect’s power is doubled. For example, an aspect that says 30% (x) in your Codex or on an item would become 60% (x) when placed on a 2-handed weapon.

If you imprint the same aspect onto an amulet, it gets a 1.5x multiplier, so that same 30% (x) becomes 45% (x).

So, if your Codex aspect says 30% (x), but you find a 2-handed weapon with a 59% (x) version of the same aspect, that item technically isn’t an upgrade — because you could just imprint your Codex aspect and end up with 60% (x) on a 2-hander.

Hope that clears things up!
