GoW ragnaroks version of Thor looks much more badass, than the marvel whimp
Well, you try coping with knowing half the world’s population vanished with the snap of a finger thanks to you.
Yep, this.
All eye color / trinkets might as well not exist in the customization. You will never see it in game while playing.
Body type / skin color / hair styles / hair color / face to some degree - those are the only relevant customization options.
Yes, your char might look great on the title screen, but in the game itself, the only thing that really changes is skin color and hair. Everything else is just useless / not even visible.
Since when Diablo had customizations for characters? They cant add a 2nd version of the char or they would have to add alt versions to all classes and genders. Same goes if sliders existed, that could delay the game by months. They can at most replace the model with the D2 one and make a female version of the same. But will they do it since a large percentile of people dont care about the fat obsession.
It is not a bad thing if it existed though. Chars would look more unique if they could be customized like so
Hair styles? Punk rock, Elvis, 21st century guy, uwu, emo. No? I can only take the body type, skin color, hair color, eye 2 types, 2nd if making them Asian.
D4 druid has the build of a practically built strong person. I encourage you to meet someone like that and speak to them the way you talk about the druid’s body type. I’m sure they’ll be happy to discourage you from further comments. I have a friend built like that and I watched him punch someone and they went into a seizure.
?
I’m just listing stuff that is visible during gameplay. I’m not judging them.
yeah beardy short men ain’t a fantasy type as well or slender elusive pointy ear people.
Reviving all the dead threads?
Strong men druid is the play though.
You have my strong support bro.
Man, these 13 day old comments are a treasure.
I’d also list Cyborg, Storm, War Machine, Falcon as a couple more examples of black superheroes to further prove the point that Black Panther isn’t “The First Black Superhero on the Big Screen”.
I’m sure you can find more examples as well, those are just from the top of my head.
Then why make a game have any customization? Why sell appearances at all, or have transmog at all? Might as well make all the characters into gray blobs with different weapons sticking out of them.
This is such a self-defeating argument that it just shows that videogame forums can attract both fairly insightful people, but also really stupid people.
I’d address more of your postage but frankly, you’re clearly here in bad faith so you aren’t worth the effort.
Your point being…?
Still counts as a superhero movie, just with a vampire doing vampire hunter business.
And I am certain that your examples don’t have anything to do with say… Demographics or origins. Just like how Eastern entertainment have characters that fit along their own demographic and origins.
I wonder what you think about Japanese having only Asian characters with a few non-Asians sprinkled in.
If your “FaCtS” involve the thought process of “There were no black superheroes before Black Panther” then you may kindly leave this discussion. You’re really not needed here.
Well the option is either… Revive dead threads, keeping the forum relatively tidy and have people complain about necro’d threads.
Or open a new thread, add more mess to an already messy forum, and have people complain about a thread for a topic being posted for the 100th time.
The answer isn’t ‘All of nothing’ with how games are designed. They’re giving us more options for unique looks than before, with ‘recognizable silhouette’ concept for each class so you can tell them apart at a glance. Seems perfectly reasonable
yes it is.
20 chars req.
Yeah, I don’t buy that.
If we’re applying the logic of “You won’t look at your character bruh”, then having “Unique characters” is a waste of time. And besides, there isn’t really that much customization to begin with, beyond the skin, hair and body tattoos.
“Recognizable Silhouettes” is also a poor explanation because I don’t pay attention to how a character looks, but rather how a character moves. And this is taking imto consideration that Rogue, Sorcerer and Necro more or less look fairly identical in body builds, with the exception being what weapons they use.
I’ll have an easier time recognizing a Rogue if they jump on me with Shadowstep, and will likely not confuse him for a Druid if he decided to become an audition for TLC.
You’re welcome to believe whatever you want
That’s fair and understandable. I just noticed it was 2-months old and it gave pause.
Have no fear. I didn’t mean anything malicious by it.
Someone that can turn into a Werewolf or a bear and can control animals, is not only going to be the apex predator in their area, but easily well fed.
They are direct descendants of barbarians, so yes, they are massive and a powerful strongman physique is a Perfect example.
These druids don’t look like carnivores.
These druids look like they’ve been eating a lot of CAKE, COOKIES and ICE CREAM full of SUGAR and obviously have fatty liver disease.
They are walking heart attacks not fighting machines.
unfortunately, an obese person cannot go out fighting evil. The heart can’t take it. as much as my druid walked during the open beta, he would definitely have lost weight. Even more so, he didn’t stop to eat, as he was busy fighting the end of the world.
“Rest in peace Druid
Big heart, pet, strong man.
He died of a heart attack trying to escape a hellish horde.”
The Druid is fat by some developer’s design, period. Not a weigh-lifter, not just “big-boned”, not a bear. Fat, fat, FAT! More full of strudel than steroids. In their most recent “Inside the Game”, we were shown Donan, that guy with the horse that we hear about, but didn’t get to see in the game. He is described as a mage and a scholar, not a power-lifter, not a druid and he is… you guessed it - FAT! I’m wondering if the other residents of Scosglen have the same gross model.
Let’s face it, the characters in this game are ugly and designed to reflect Blizzard’s sudden concern for “diversity”. That includes making the Druid a fat-enabler to make the morbidly obese feel good about themselves. I propose that they give a “Hibernate” ability (better known as diabetic coma) to accent his fat bear connection. Oh, and I also thought that he should be given a greasy mutton shank to use as a club. Might as well go all in on his corpulent glory.
