It’s working as intended. It’s been this way since tempering was introduced. You are not new, where were you last year when the instructions on how to do it were posted here on the forums? Decided to stay silent then, but now… ooohhh it’s the Spiritborn who is already OP… gotta get on that wagon! Every other class outside of Rogue did this exact thing over a year ago. That’s prior to the crit damage nerf. Instructions and all in past topics about how to do it… right here on these forums. The temper wasn’t even available on the other classes, using the Rogue to temper and bypassing the limits not given to the other classes at that time. Nobody back then was calling that an exploit or bug. Why now? Because you THINK +13 is supposed to be the limit? Maybe that +13 is the bug and +18 is where it is supposed to be at. It’s not that the past wasn’t fixed from past seasons, it was the post, on these official forums, how to do it. It was never even addressed by Blizzard. Just because you say people are exploiting, doesn’t mean they actually are. Until someone with official capacity says it is, you have no say in the matter as you have no official standing with Blizzard or anything Diablo.
Its not. Explain how gear showing no masterwork crits is working as intended because that is how all these items look on the ppl i inspect. Resolve should be orange text for 3 crits but its not because its been broken, bypassed, and exploited.
What is the actual in-game reward for clearing P150 though? Is there like some kind of feat of str challenge, title or smth?
You can complete the challenge Bounding The Insidious Cavalcade
Tamper it on defensive items like Helms, Chest Armor, Pants or the Amulet. With at least two items with this tamper and those hit by mastercraft at least once, you should be able to get +18 resolve stacks with ease.
but exploiting bugs is against game EULA. in D3 there were bans for this. so in D4 EULA does not matter?
just playing a spiritborn is breaking the EULA. are they gonna ban everyone who bought the expansion? lol
Ill be honest, Im not sure this is an exploitation to such a degree as some are making it out to be. But there are some good concerns that have been brought up.

You all have to keep in mind taking one item with tempers from class and changing those to have another classes tempers are within the bounds of the current game. What if you pick up a pair of gloves that are universal in affixes and you find out they are better suited to fit another class? This spiked armor “exploit” is using this mechanic yes but only because we want this mechanic, it makes transitioning universal gear from one character to another viable in case your main doesnt work out.

The masterworking process applying targetted upgrades to two tempers at the same time is the unintended portion, this should be bug fixed. Lets target our conversation. We WANT to be able to switch tempers if something goes wrong, we DONT want masterworking to apply itself twice to 1 stat in an inintended way, or atleast clarify if this was intended or not. I say that because currently it is allowed an has been allowed to exist in the game. Diablo partner streamers are using this as a tactic, not an unintended bannable offense. We shouldnt either unless CM’s say it is. Otherwise we are starting rumors and making mountain out of a molehill

Spiritborn was expected to have bugs, we are expected to report them here. Use your own words, not other peoples links. Urza isnt trying to censor anyone, just looking out for you all. Blizzard isnt known for NOT taking these things out on players regardless of innocence.
I honestly don’t see the point of the necro exploit tbh. 26 legit stacks from 2 items is already enough to decimate 150, having 36 stacks just makes it faster and no one considers those times real on leaderboards so …
Fell Maven!
20 chars
Also don’t forget the gazillion hp they got from stacked tempering passive (can’t recall its name).
It’s intended. It’s supposed to be +18. Only people that can prove me wrong are the developers. You can’t. Looks like crit color not showing up is the bug. Simple. Working as intended.
It’s more of a definition of someone who doesn’t like others having fun.

Haha. Ur a funny guy
They overpass the 3 times masterwork.
13 is the max number with trippel masterwork on that.
if you have more then 13 you have bypasss the 3 x times of masterwork with is ofc cheating. And using bugs into masterwork.
Well then all streamers should be banned by your logic because they all used this simple temper but the people who are masterworking them over and over again for the bug multi yellow rolls thats the problem not 18 resolve stacks. Honestly to ban everyone who just used the 18 stacks would be dumb and you may as well have everyone banned for rolling crit temper on rogue when you could only do that. lets be honest if just rolling gear for higher stacks on another char was a real problem it would have been handled already or at least talked about to warn against it, the fact blizz hasnt said anything about it means its legal for this season but the multi yellow rolls should be addressed for sure its the real problem and a real expliot
no one is overpassing the 3 times masterwork. 12/12 like every other item. there’s a bug as necromancer when you can temper spiked armor twice on the item (Profane Cage - Defensive & Thorn Army - Utility) and because they are the same stat when one of them crits during masterworking the other crits as well making it look like its double critting. its still 12/12 ranks its not like they’re exploiting and doing 24/12 masterworks.
If this still works tomorrow its not a bug
Yes it is. Keep cheating and saying its not tho.
I also like all the kids in here on the class so blatently cheaply op are still needing to cheat. Must be terrible at the game lol.
If you can’t beat em…watch em get away with it by not getting banned…I guess?
