Even poe has more viewers atm than d4…where are our twitch whiteknights
Funny how most of the more popular streamers aren’t playing the game anymore. Those streamers pull in 5000+ viewers per stream. It’s like popular streamers are fishing for new viewers because of the hype.
Rob and Wudijo still play and average 2k viewers now
Im still enjoying playing my rabbit fire season rogue. Not because the season content if you can call it like this is awesome. I just like to pewpew monsters with the new build.
Aaaand im still have a tiny bit of hope that i will we able to hunt for a couple of nice unique items in the future. While hoping i level my rabbit shooter and stock huge amounts of gold and resources.
It says absolutely nothing because twitch views never equated to players.
No its not and that mind set is soo stupid.
You watch the games you play… no one is playing this so no one is watching it
Not enough bathtub streamers playing d4?
The cash shop is starting to get more predatory. I noticed yesterday some cosmetics are now marked with fomo timers. I don’t personally care but using fomo is predatory.
The difference is that Path of Exile is designed as a “spectator game”. Chris Wilson has even said they design some of the content with the assumption people won’t play it and their interaction with that content is watching someone else who poured hundreds of hours grinding watch the content.
So if PoE has bad viewership, that means the game is doing poorly.
Meanwhile, Diablo 4 is a game designed to actually be played. And we know that millions of people are playing Diablo 4 currently, meanwhile PoE is getting what, 20,000 average daily users? So you see the difference.
Any intelligent discussion on Twitch viewership numbers would need to look at same timeframe to same timeframe. So, essentially, Season launches is probably the best gauge.
Outside of using direct comparisons like that I am unsure on how good twitch is for monitoring overall game popularity./shrug
Amouranth was streaming the game for two weeks during release. That’s just one rando popular streamer. 15k people were her viewers. I’m not bother by streamers trying out new games for content. But saying there’s tons of viewers during release and never saying one single streamer had 10% of the total views goes to show how well informed some posters are.
You fail to understand the point, that Rob and Wudijo used to average 5-10k each and now see 2-3
I missed this, which ones? Wondering if it is sale or actual limited time offer stuff
Much like baseball in my opinion.
Wait till we get the new Asmongold inspired cosmetics. You will be craving for it. Soending thoussands of moneys.
Asmongold is the only wonderful person in this universe you can watch and still learn something. His presence alone is awesome and celestial.
See you all in game. Have fun. fffffffun
You don’t watch their streams do you?? They got raided a numbers of times. Keeping the viewership up most of the time. Not only that, the big dropoff was after the nerf patch.
Rob and Wudijo both averaged 10k viewers at this time of day during the first week of season 1. As I’ve mentioned above, forum d4 white knights were loving this and shouting on the forums about how the game cant be dead.
Season 1 isn’t even 2 weeks old.
Thats the way I feel about all games. Id rather play a game instead of watching others play it.
Yes that’s true. When did the viewership dropped? After the nerf patch? Before the Season start? They sure didn’t go from 10k views to 3k views in an hour or two.
