Various Performance Updates

• The team is preparing a performance patch to go out later today (Thursday May 16) to address various performance related items we have seen since the launch.

RTX 40 Series Issues

• We have seen reports of crashing occurring on the PC version of the game for those that use NVIDIA RTX 40 series cards. We suggested the other day to disable ‘Frame Generation’ to help alleviate this and possibly other features including Ray Tracing. We are expecting an update from our partners at NVIDIA on this issue in the coming days. In the meantime, we will have be removing ‘Frame Generation’ from options in the performance client patch coming later today (Thursday May 16) to help out with this.

I’m on Steam on PC, not the battle.net launcher

This patch killed my audio in-game.
I have absolutely no sound and in options where I could potentially select my desired output device, it is blank.

I have audio everywhere else and I have added to a post started by others with this issue, in the technical thread.

Nevertheless, I am wondering how many are experiencing this now with this patch?

Can’t even get in to Battlenet. Stepped away from the computer for a couple hours, came back to a pop-up saying Battlenet had to be updated. Closed it, opened it, I’ve been in a queue just to get in to Battlenet ever since. Not D4… Battlenet. Maybe 10 minutes now. It’s said <1 minute the entire time. Great update

Downloaded the new patch and now my game won’t even launch.
I’ve used the “scan and repair” tool, modify install and unistalled/reinstalled D4 and still the issue persists.
Using Bnet launcher and the status changes but the game doesn’t launch. Says “Playing Now”

Have you checked task manager to make sure a ghost version of the application isn’t running, It’s a problem I’ve had before…
