It lags, i cant repaire most of the time(bc it dosnt load), rubber banding, it loads extremly long what ever i do… cant play the game anymore like this…
In my case, since the new patch, I can only get to the Character Select screen, then I get an error “Diablo IV was unable to retrieve necessary data. Please check your network connection”. I tried several things (I have a post about this here in the forum) but so far no luck.
I’m on ps5 I turn invisible and can’t move if I fast travel to any main town that’s been happening for a couple weeks now. And since the patch I freeze in nearly every pit or dungeon run, can’t move, die, can’t reset, have to close the game then log in 10x over to try and be in human form when I load in and not an immovable ghost I love the game but this really is making me hate it……
5 pit runs in a row now I have glitched out fix your game blizzard you want to charge me for a new expansion how about fix the main game first it’s rubbish
for everyone on this thread, blizzard released a small new build - and it addressed missing mounts, but not the playability issues for us screwed over folks. so they just didn’t wanna shut off the money faucet for a second, since we already paid we’re at the back of the line lmao

I cant start the game after patching 1.4.2. Game crashes when i start seasonal game. Doesn’t fix stability issue.
one week later: still can’t play. believable, because it is blizzard.
sickens me to say i spent $20 on geforce now and it works there. smh. blizzard you are the worst - at least i can play.
And, it’s crashing again. Client won’t even launch. Fix this crap.
The only thing that helped me was going into task manager and setting affinity to use half of my cores (0-5). So far I haven’t had a crash but only time will tell how effective this is. I hope this may help others!
interesting. i was thinking of doing something similar but limited the memory available to it.
i caved and just bought a geforce now membership. won’t be viable for everyone, i have 1 gig symmetrical fiber and it is basically just streaming.

Any word of a fix? Was able to play fine until after the last update. Did the recommended steps and after I re-installed the game and battle net desktop app it got worse.
Could probably play 20-30 min before it crashing, which would exit out of D4. Now Im getting blue stop code page before I get in the character selection menu.
I was beginning to think hardware malfunction.
Ive submitted a ticket but havent heard back.
Decided to try it out today. Still broken for me.
Made a support ticket quite a while ago.
