Only certain effects should become permanent.

Whereas the effects and affixes from S24, S25 and S27 should be separated out and applied to underperforming legendary items.

  • Crucible effects should just allow you to reroll an existing primal.
  • Parts of Soul Shards should just become legendary gems, or a 3rd effect found gained at gem rank 100.
  • Ethereal affixes can be applied to certain items.

Certain OP effects may need revision. The WoL bells crucible effect is overpowered — perhaps that should change to improve other skills like Lashing Tail Kick. Aim your LTK at a Pillar to release several more fireballs.

And terrible Crucible effects like DH’s Vengeance and Crusader’s Angels need to be revamped.

Ring of Fire must be weakened, etc.

There’s too much good stuff here to let rot, 2.7.5 is a great opportunity to bring these enjoyed effects back into the game permanently and well as revisit those effects which were underwhelming.

Lets not forget the 2 Wizard powers. 30 seconds to tickle a RG with a Storm Armor strike and Wait 4 seconds to shoot the same amount of Arcane Orbs you could shoot IN 4 seconds.

Yes that’s why some of those powers should return in forms of legendaries or added to sets, affixes ect.

But what really needs to be kept is the primal rolling, we can’t keep kicking this can down the road with the loot problem and the disaster of the current primal system.

Call it Primal Dust…call it whatever you want it’s what’s needed right now or our theme is going to always be stuck around making loot better. As soon as it doesn’t it’s a fail season (S26 for example).

Clearly, at current levels you would be fully primal in a week, tops.

There are certainly valid points for and against.

I too am wary of an increase in power some features can bring if becoming permanent, on the other hand stands the fun some of these features can bring.
So if a balance can be struck I am all for it.

There has been some very interesting ideas thrown around, one was given in a thread in the DH section concerning spells and changes to them. Proposal to a new mechanic for multishot

As for the primal, well that isn’t such a hot topic for me. But one idea I liked is the one suggesting a drop that can be used on an existing primal to reroll it. That is an old request to have the chance to reroll primal with the primal status maintained.

Do you really think what one person says when there are thousands of others who will keep playing makes one iota of difference?
It’s not like anyone here making those statements is Leviathan or any other notable player who had monsters in the game named after their handles?
There is no Bravata monster to my knowledge.
If you do not like it, leave, otherwise it’s a broken record that BLIZZARD does not seem to pay much attention to. Just an observation.

Guess there’s a few players that run what, 100+ accounts each given that each leaderboard have 1000 chars. Also, editing quotes is very bad form.

DNFIFY the fact the leaderboards have 1,000 on each, three regions westerners can see, plus China which no westerner can access you are so wrong it is funny. Thousands, plural.
Every leaderboard for every character class and every green build+LoD has 1,000ea = thousand(s) EPIC FAIL.

It will never happen no matter what he says. Yes the Crucibles are nice, but a lot people are only saving them for puzzle rings. Once you make your weapon what good are they from that point on. I have like 50 in my stash. The other 50 or so that I use to try to change the two affixes around. You only get so many different ones.

The Echoing Nightmare doesn’t really change to much in the game like some of the other ones do. Basically you are only getting some drops and a gem. But in non season people don’t really compete like they do in the season on the leader board.

Plus the funny part here how many people really play non season VS season play. I bet the only time most of you play non season is when there is down time between season.

You’re right. You can actually shoot more than 4 in 4 seconds but the point was at least clear. The visual effect of that particular power however is quite nice. Should have just given all Arcane Orbs the Arcane Orbit rune and had em orbit the Orb you fired off.

no you dont understand how it truly works. My 4 forzorbs will do double the damage your 8 can do in the same amount of time. You are like a “tal rasha beginner” rocking comet for pushing trying to explain to a Star Pact pusher how comet is better because they can spam the screen full of comets so much faster.

it’s okay though, not holding it against you, the power isnt useful for lower GR’s or speeds in any form, and it isnt touching meteor either so pushing with it is just niche fun.

You’re kinda rude aren’tcha? I understand how to optimize it. Its just not fun. Also time and math: 4 second wait to throw 5 in 1 second. Double explosion. Signature skills for more damage. Not hard to figure out At All. The part about the Orbs exploding in unison for Orbit is meh at best too.

Meanwhile you can launch 12 buffed DMO Heatseeking Magic Missiles x3-4 per second all the way downtown this season. Stun locking and dot/shot killing all comers before the less dangerous/hearty mobs can even reach you. Feels like a DH. There is no reason to even look at the Arcane Orb setup sadly as it’s not only a builder with your signature needing to ramp damage, its slower and reaches only what 40% of the distance. Arcane Orb is better at Rift Guardian, but turning Diablo 3 into Ikaruga for the boss is a little more compelling honestly. It doesn’t even have an AC affix but Lightning Meteor swarm is just BONKERS in the best way making that build fill the Arcane Orb niche at a much more effective capacity too.
