Why would you nerf crusaders?

Is there a reason you have to make Crusaders suck again? Just to piss off players? I don’t get it.

Where have you been the last month?

Saders and WDs were performing TOO good. They are likely still going to be the RGK in meta groups. The build is still really solid.

Even after the nerf, AoV HF crusader is speculated to be top solo (2nd at worst) and RGK for group. How’s that for perception? Tells you how overtune AoV HF was.

Calm your pants Susan. They will still be the best RGK and probably the top clear next season anyways. They needed the nerf to bring them back down in line with other top builds. They have been nerfed twice and will still be the top build. Quit your whining.

yea and im one of them… crusaders sucked hard in the past, almost every class has been in the meta, crusaders have been sucks for years, now crusader is nice, and blizzard nerfing sader is just ruining the fun…

Like, it would be enough to have set multipliers of 200% and item multipliers by 10-20%. Really.

Pushing 45s back in S1+S2 was just as fun and challenging as 140s+ are now. Just with way smaller numbers and no “dont roll area damage in paragon to prevent lag”. I mean, we had lag too but back in those days there were probably 10 times the players playing…

ActiBlizz hates Diablo 3 playerbase and when someone is having too much FUN they “execute order 66” on classes that “in their” opinion are performing too well

Blizz is merely a shadow of it’s former beloved game developer when they weren’t so big and rich and actually cared

For someone who is so for “equality” they just can’t stand if some class is performing too good and instead of boosting other class sets or supporting items to match the TOP builds they rather destroy or nerf the ones that are FUN to play or most effective…

Beside being RGK Sader has nothing to add to the game…beside that hes slow a.f. and rly not fun to play.

And WD, cmon…so many seasons useles, he deserved to shine at least 1 season long. :wink:

I think this is the point where Wizards and Barbarians slap up the “First Time?” meme. So many builds destroyed because of Blizzard “fixing” things in the wrong way.

For the first time in years we are seeing an effort from them to bring balance among the classes, with a plan (solo GR target range), documented steps and trial & error adjustments, yet people will still complain.

3 months ago:
PTR happens -> WD seems powerful and gets adjusted a bit -> patch goes live -> after a while, 5-minute GR150 runs become a thing. “Hurr durr power creep, this is insane, people are doing GR150 speed runs!”

Last couple of weeks:
Overpowered sets/items are scaled back to a point where they’re still pretty powerful and nonetheless still better than other classes’ options -> “Wah! I can’t do speed GR150s anymore! I can’t solo +10 ranks above the rest of the classes anymore!”

There is no pleasing you guys…

What’s wrong with GR150 being a tough achievement that requires extra effort from everyone, rather than the speed contest it has been in the last few months? Really? 750 mainstat augments to your Nemesis bracers for your T16 farmer was reasonable to you?

WD has been in the spotlight a lot. The best support in the early seasons. Dart Doctor for RGK/Trash, Helltooth/Aracyr Firebats, LON spirit barrage and now Mundunugus, which is probably going to be still very good.

WD is my favorite class, but they’ve been in the meta probably more than most other classes (not including supports).

Blizzard is just trying to make playing the build competitive with other builds. They can do that to any build. If you played enough seasons you see that a build that has a particular advantage over the rest is always adjusted or balanced. Now to the fact that they should make the game harder, that simply can’t be done easily. Its better to constantly review builds that people play and nerf them a bit to make the game harder for using that build.

If its overdone, then Blizzard will tweak it again sometime in the future. There are now 35 sets, not counting all the LoD variations. It something bothers you, play another class, builds or make something new from a LoD standpoint. From the perspective of two of the most disadvantaged classes, DH and Necro, Crusaders had a nice ride lately, but nothing is forever in this game. :yum:

They can do GR150 solo in a Season is the answer…the goal of solo GR is about GR135-GR140.

That is why…no other reason.
