As I can‘t try out on my own at the moment. Can this legendary gem be upgraded like most others up to 150? Or is the level fixed at the level it has dropped dir example? Thank you
Well there’s the option actually to up them when talking to Urshi. So I guess yes?

Yes.
In their current iteration on the PTR, the highest level they drop at is rank 125, but they can be taken up to 150 by running GRs and upgrading them just like legendary gems.

Do we know if the Whispers of Atonement collected in season are going to transfer to non season?
The patch notes https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/diablo3/23785083/season-26-the-fall-of-the-nephalem-now-live read as follows:
“Petrified Screams and the Echoing Nightmare can only be accessed with seasonal characters. […]
The Whisper of Atonement is a Legendary Gem used exclusively for Augmenting Ancient Legendary items. It drops pre-ranked based upon the player’s performance in the Echoing Nightmare.”
I’m not sure what to make of this…
If they do transfer to non season, this would be a good reason for those who miss high levelled gems in ns to keep farming them despite the 5% drop rate.
It’s the seasonal theme, so it won’t carry over. The augmenting stays, but the whispers won’t.
