This is literally what this loot system allows. Allowing people who want to, to go play in a setting where they have agreed to share loot.
Something, as you correctly point out, people could already agree on before. Now there just is a convenient toggle for it on game creation.

Fair share is whoever picks it up first. Everyone had the same opportunity. Click a mouse and pick it up…I’d you miss it or lose out, that’s a personal issue and an area for growth.
Besides, you add a Toggle and that’s the new PvP lobby. Filter by allocated loot or PLoot and just surf game to game insta hostile. Giving the PvPers a new game mode! PvP bounties!
Hostile Handshake would never come before Loot Allocation. And you’ll be lucky to get any loot mechanic changes. Don’t forget that.

They are both animals with the same molecular makeup. Two arms, two legs, we breathe, etc.

Ping, Playing with Hackers, are all personal problems. You learn who you play with and watch for anomalies.
We both have internet, computers, and a brain. The basic similarities are there to state it’s equal from the foundational level.
Anything after that is an individual’s issue internally.
So you agree that its not a fair split between everyone and that’s their problem not yours you just want your advantage.

D3 XIV difficulty 2 players! 1 player is geared for that and 1 ain’t geared person carry another for a free gear since it’s personal loot…great now we have invented ultimate leecher mode (ploot) for game as diablo! No we do not need this! we want D2R last long with ppl actually playing more than 4days and then having 6 months brake before next 4days of gameplay! D2R ain’t D3 and we’re not allow that to happen! not now not in future.

It is true that playing on the new battle net may alleviate some concerns. Some, but not all, and time will tell about hacks. As for the rest, yeah you are happy with your advantage taking from others. Got it.
why don’t ya just take it to a next lvl and also say that u do not have internet at all and if u buy game then blizzard should also provide internet connection for u!?
Internet access should be bundled with a game, like 3 month for free, then you need to renew for a small fee.

this game in unique because of the loot system / craft system and those are the things were here to defend. there’s nothing like this being done after D2 and D2R need to stay like this! we don’t need or want more mass product games with ploot / bad crafting systems. everyone that had played D3 can see how bad it was since the beginning to compared to D2.
Just another example of using an instance of bad implementation as an argument against any possible implementation.
