I’m definitely going 2-handed Frenzy Barb. Since last time we had these weapons, Frenzy H90 set got a 2x damage increase, and Frenzy was something ppl slept on last time til midway through the season. With double damage from the 6pc set bonus I’m hoping to blow through GRs and have a really good time for 4 or 5 days. Really excited!!
Frenzy performed really well in the soul shard season just recently that made a comeback, so I am excited to grab me a grandfather and swing around my big ol’ two-hander

To plan a bit ahead I guess that a look at the season 24 leaderboards can show what kind of ethereals to look for, and then also factor in the Altar.
For sets and builds that have been changed since that season a look at maxroll’s non season tier lists combined with maxroll’s ethereal info page can give some hints on what to aim for.
Later maxroll may have an updated season 32 section.
I’m not saying that maxroll is the holy grail of build guides as there are other sources plus our own knowledge and experience.

Atm its a tossup between witch doctor and monk to start with. I’ll be making a GoD dh at some point in the season.
I’m waiting for the Last Epoch patch notes to decide. Oh you mean D3. Skipping it.

I’ve changed my mind. Yesterday is the first time I’ve ever pushed with crusader after throwing it together and I enjoyed the build for being different… but I struggled with it.
I think it can go back in the drawer until the next balance patch.

(I’ll also probably roll a Hydra Wizard, and if I have time/inclination maybe another Capt. America Crusader, be cause he was a LOT of fun in S30…)

I am not sure yet, but since I skipped season 31 and I am real bored with my other games I am really excited.
I just know it won’t be a barb because that is what I played in season 30, and also not Monk because I played one in 24.
Most likely going to start a GoD DH after a while for the XP farming but until then it could be anything else.
Let’s just say, I will be not starting with a Necro this time around!
I usually play at least 2 classes per season. I like to start with a fast farmer though, like monk/DH.
Long time didn’t start with a DH, might be a starter for me this season (even though I don’t like the 1-70 journey on it).
Most likely a WD/Crusader as well, but I’m really looking forward to Frenzy Barb with Grandfather. Back in S24 I just didn’t manage to set it up…
Tal Rasha/LoD meteor might also be extremely strong due to buffs on meteor pieces after S24.
I believe a solo GR150 clear within 24 hours from season start is really possible. Not by me; I need my recuperation sleep

Definitely starting with GoD DH to farm items, altar etc and then pushing with LoD Meteor. I just can’t miss the opportunity to use 1h Wizardspike Etheral with 2h legendary power and add Orb of Infinite Depth to this build. It will be crazy strong, fun and tanky.

Deff not “GoD”, and not zdh lol, relying on others to boost you sucks big time, more waiting than playing.
Whats the point in waiting for boost as support, and do basically nothing? Not even being good at supporting. Theres so many players like this, its like cope playing your game that you hate for a long time already.
Wanna Mid-low gr speed runs? Necros still better than god, no season is going to change that, ever.
Theres no way gods gonna speedrun anything higher than 110-115s (even at 10k paragon nonseason, for reference), while necros can Team speedrun 110 on the first day, no paragons, with bad items.
Test your inarius set at nonseasonal and see for yourselves.

In case you are serious here, I will try to explain why.
First of all - necros are losing unlimited cube. No more 3 weapons in cube means you will lose about 12x dmg multiplier. Necro’s etherals are good but I believe other classes’ have better ones (more about it later). Fun fact - necro will lose even one build entirely for season 32 - Ratha AotD is going to be unplayable next season.
Why GoD DH? Well mainly because of Buriza etheral. This weapon is defintely one of the best etherals boosting GoD more than other etherals boost different classes. DH is the only class being able to equip 2h etheral with an offhand and Buriza gives you perma-crit. On top of that GoD is already the fastest build in the game, the most lazy build in the game (hold RPM and everything dies) and is super-easy to gear (compared to farming Haunted Vision’s for example).
Back in season 24 I was able to speedfarm GR120 (speedfarm means <3 minutes runs) with a decent, fully-augmented GoD. In the following seasons GoD 6p was buffed to 27500%, we got the altar (although nerfed) and I am not sure when Depth Diggers were buffed (was it in season 25?). I am quiet sure GoD will be amongst the best speedXP meta.

Depth Diggers haven’t been touched in ages. They are as powerful as they’ve always been. The only change was the removal of the requirement for the primary to generate resource.
Now the GoD set buff and the nerfed Altar combined give some 7-8 GRs more power than it was in S24. That should make GoD a truly powerful speed farmer.

DH GoD seems to be OK. According to D3planner Buriza-Do Kyanon increases damage ( dps ) of Hungering Arrow by ~6 times.
Maybe players are bored with the necro after this season.
All classes/builds will not be equal, that’s for sure, but will feel less fortunate (and more fun).

Well, after rechecking Haedrig’s, I will start with a WD.
It has Arachyr, and chicken is great for Boss Mode. Also, will have “working” Enchantresses for other classes after few days of playing.
It is one of the better 1-70 classes as well.
Additionally, long time I didn’t start a season with a WD.

Because people don’t always base their class choice on which is the most powerful?
Also pretty sure lots of people played Necro this season? I for one don’t like playing the same build/class two seasons in a row, even with Necro which is my favourite class. And I assume some others are the same.
