I think I’m going to roll a Firebird Wizard this season. Think I did pretty well with one in season 24 for solo pushing and maybe a Barb or a DM if Wizard doesn’t pan out. How about you?

If I remember correctly Firebird did well with Wizardspike and Mirror Images. But Mirror Images with Firebird was nerfed or destroyed after that season.
This doesn’t mean that Firebird or another wizard set won’t be great next season. (I’d personally like that).

You’re rolling every class if you want all 21 ethereal drops. The good news is once you have all of the ethereals for a class, you can just dump that character and go to the next one. This assumes you want the meta achievement for getting all 21 ethereals, which grants you their transmogrifications at the time of earning the achievement and for all future seasons/non-seasonal play.

I just did that tedious stuff for Ethereals back at S24, so I think I’ll just enjoy the game. I’m thinking of rolling a Crusader or Monk but haven’t decided yet. Monk has a good starter Set but I feel like I’m not done with Roland 'sader yet. I think I’ll start a Monk just for Uliana and use it to get Crusader equipped.

I already have all the transmogs from season 24, so I probably play one or two characters before D4 season 5 starts.

Actually you don’t have to. If you play enough, you will get all the Ethereals through the random drops you get from other classes. It is far, far easier to get them playing each character, but not necessary.
As this season includes my most hated conquest, most likely a Necromancer, so I can see how quickly I can finish the Season Journey.
I think I’m going to pass on the 32 Set Dungeons and not worry about getting 2100 Achievement Points.
I usually start off on SSF DH. If I’m enjoying the theme I’ll then roll whichever toon/build is doing 149s solo for the gemups. I am expecting IRL stuff to be quite disruptive to my gaming in the next couple of months so I may not get that far. We’ll see how bad my addiction is.

Barbarian: Frenzy.
That will be my start, but I will play all classes to collect the ethereals for the transmog feat/unlock.
Wizard LoD + all sets except Vyr.
What else is new to roll?
Nothing new except:
- Tal Met
- Tragoul Nova
- Natalya Trap
Which were buffed AFTER ethereal season. Smouldering Core / Demon Demise + Chanon Bolter arent even on the ethereal weapons power list.
S24 FB was MI. Sure it has the non MI as weaker version that season but MI can not be buffed by FB 6pc anymore.
S24 hit Inna is nerfed also.
LoD reverse archon SP could be fun again.

Ah, yes, that’s the achievement that disappeared after players had earned it and, for some players, also meant they no longer had access to the weapon transmogs the achievement was supposed to unlock.
At the time, the Community Manager said this…
That was back in December 2021.
No update was ever provided and this remains broken.

Not sure how much time I will have time to play after taking possession of my house though.
So my goal for the season is to bring a level 70 wizard with a new name back to NS to replace the one I don’t like 
I suppose the less gear I find, the less stash tetris I will have to do.
