What have you done to the website?

No. Like everything else I do, it continues to redirect me back to the Americas Region.

Then one can only hope they continue working on it tomorrow for the Americasregion. Here in eu, it works as I described above.

Update on the LB links.

If I clear browserā€™s cookie and cache (will become log out state), the LB links and region selector on the LB page work fine.

However, if I log in again, the LB links and region selector will redirect back to https://diablo3.blizzard.com/... and show my main region data only.

Edit: while in ā€œlog outā€ state, these links work fine:

https://us.diablo3.blizzard.com/en-us/profile/{tag-id}/
https://ap.diablo3.blizzard.com/en-us/profile/{tag-id}/
https://eu.diablo3.blizzard.com/en-us/profile/{tag-id}/

But once logged in, these links will redirect and show only the profile of my main region.

I also just found out that logging out on the website does the trick.

However, there are still two issues:

  1. I still get redirected to a different region by default when I want to view someone elseā€™s armory profile (including myself) even though Iā€™m view the US forums. Now theyā€™ve added the region selection for armory profiles again, this issue has a workaround but itā€™s still annoying.

  2. The forums link at the top of the website is affected by the region of leaderboards weā€™re viewing. For example, if Iā€™m viewing the Asia leaderboards and I click the forums link I will be sent to Korea forums. Obviously this also has a workaround by returning to US leaderboards before clicking the forums link, but itā€™s a bad design in my opinion.

No, the region selector is not available on armory profile page yet. I compiled the URL myself.

I meant the region selection when youā€™re trying to view an armory profile thatā€™s not avaible in that region.

For example I donā€™t have characters in Asia, so when I try to view my Asia profile I get this.

That region selection was removed when I first made this post.

For players with characters in multiple regions, changing the prefix before .diablo3.blizzard.com is the only workaround atm.

Yes, they are back but still not working if logged in. They only work when you have logged out. :pensive:

I tried the log-out trick ā€“ I can now see my Europe and Americas profiles, but not my Asia profile and my Asia profile.

https://us.diablo3.blizzard.com/en-us/profile/Boubou-1741/career works.

https://eu.diablo3.blizzard.com/en-us/profile/Boubou-1741/career works.

Boubou#1741 - Community - Diablo III or Boubou#1741 - Community - Diablo III does not work; I get a message saying the site does not exist. :frowning:

nvm ā€“ I figured it outā€¦ https://ap.diablo3.blizzard.com/en-gb/profile/Boubou-1741/career works (why ā€œapā€ ?? - just curious)

Donā€™t know why ap, maybe Asia pacific.

ok ā€“ wellā€¦ at least there is now a way to look at a playerā€™s profile in another region.

Thatā€™s going to be very handy on the Europe French language forumsā€¦

I just wish that the site would not redirect me to the Asia forums while I accessed it via the NA main D3 site.

Given I do live in Asia but I have been playing in NA servers and have always been on this forums since ever.

I hope the web team would at least save oneā€™s preference even after Iā€™ve picked the NA forums via the language selector from the bottom of the page.

haha, yeah, I clicked Forums and I went to Korea

You could bookmark the NA site; if you use Google Chrome, you can also pin the link to the NA Forums to the Chrome icon on the task bar. Thatā€™s what I do.

The window title is not too descriptiveā€¦ and it cannot be changedā€¦ but I know what order theyā€™re in.

For me is happening something pretty similar, Im living in Australia, always playing in America Server and when I click on the forum just redirect me to the koren forumā€¦ I just open a ticket on the support and I did everything that they said me to do and still not workingā€¦ so I cant see my characters in Americas Server

Use the language selector at the footer of the screen.
Then bookmark it on the browser for future access.

See my posts above for a workaround.

yeah, this link works for me when Im logged out, when I login still not working as you said before

Reminder

  • I stay logged in to Blizzard/Diablo III website.
  • I live in North America.
  • English is my native language.
  • Iā€™m running Windows 10 Professional 64-bit.
  • My browser is the latest version of Firefox.

Updated Information

  • I use a link that takes me to the Diablo III Home Page, English (US). From there I can access all other sections: Game Guide, Rankings, Media, Forums, etc. (Americas Region)
  • Clicking View Profile takes me to my Americas Region Characters list.
  • Trying to view my Characters in any other Region redirects me to my Americas Region Profile.

Discovery

  • Without logging out, I can run my VPN app. I select Brussels, Belgium. I must then close Firefox and reopen it. I use the link to return to Diablo III Home Page. The links and URL still show Iā€™m in ā€œEnglish (US)ā€/ā€œen-usā€, respectively. But now, when I click View Profile, it shows my Europe Region Characters.
  • I can then close Firefox again. In my VPN app I change to Tokyo, Japan. I open Firefox and return to the Diablo III Home Page. Now, when I click on View Profile I can see my Asia Region Characters.

This is the easiest way Iā€™ve found, so far, to change Regions on this website. Itā€™s a minor inconvenience. I still hope this is improvedā€¦ quicker than SoonTM.

@Perusoe

As a workaround, you can just logout the website (not forum), and use these links for your profiles on 3 regions:

I realize that. I read the previous posts. Thank you for that information.

I suppose that would be easier. As long as Iā€™m not asked to enter my Authentication number too. Sometimes it does ask for this when logging back in. I have the hardware Authenticator. Its display is not backlit and, at my age, my vision is not as sharp as it used to be.

What is the point for logging in the website beside viewing profiles.
May be just keep the website logged out.
