Not this week as they haven’t announced maintenance, but then I recall at the end of every season there is normally a post in my Battle Net app about the end date/time, not this season only D4 details.

Every other season has started the Friday after season finishes meaning this Friday start. Are Blizzard just to lazy now or scared they will bugger something up ?

Probably be up tomorrow.

Not even remotely true. They’ve taken as much as a month before.

Pretty sure that since season 4 (believe that was the longer layover), the longest break has been 10 days since patch launch, with the more common being 3 days when patch goes live.

Would have to look back, do not feel like it, but would say off my memory it was around 75% of the time that the season started 3 days after the patch.

That being said, I think this patch might fall into the 10 day mark.

Usually last couple seasons been ending and then 5 days after the other season has started. Like the 3 last seasons all had 5 days between hopefully this one has it to so it releases on friday : d can’t wait to play

You are right, I could not care less about era ending. Just give the damn season so we can see where we all end up.

The longest break was between seasons 10 and 11 when the necro was released. That was a whole month. It took at least 3 weeks after patch release before S11 started.

Just imagine explaining to your boss if the start date is this friday. You just want to play S19 when it starts but the info is coming up at a bad time.

You: Hey boss I need the weekend off for some personal time.
Boss: This weekend? Are you kidding me? Your telling me this now? Your saying I have to remake the schedule just for you? NO! Your coming in for your shifts this weekend or your fired!
You: I wanted to let you know a week ahead but…
Boss: Come in or your fired!

gg.

Imagine taking time off of work to start a season the moment of.

Eras give you a reason to push in non-season, using the accumulated power of all your paragons from previous seasons.

I don’t even remember they exist.

Thank you, could not remember which season it was, but that makes sense right. There was a brand new class to test and work out the kinks for.

No reason to go past 10 days from patch going live anymore. I think it is even rare to go past 3 days, but given two new sets, would be nice to give one more final tune before the season starts. Especially considering they are not backing off of the Barb nerf…smh

Yep, don’t care that the Era will end. Season 19 definitely will not start on the 15th. Now to wait till Tuesday the 19th to see if patch hits , because I doubt they will make an announcement.

Thanks for this, helps piece the timelines together a lot more efficiently.

End of season 12 was the first Sunday end I believe. Season 10 into 11 was the necromancer, so that makes a lot of sense. Season 13 was the first season where the seasons ended on Sundays I believe.

So what I am seeing from patch going live to season launching is 10, 10, 3,10, 3, 3 in the last 6 seasons if season 12 would have ended on a Sunday rather than Friday.

This pretty much confirms that assuming the patch goes live today, which I expect, that we will get the season either this week or next week.

I seem to recall a blog posting somewhere that they would announce the S19 start date when they put out the official 2.6.7 patch note blog.

(Edit: Well, I’m seeing things then. Patch notes are out and no info on S19.)

According to Reddit, the console versions got patched to 2.6.7 about 30 mins ago
