I’ve tried scanning/repairing, reinstalled the game on the same and different harddrives. My windows and graphics drivers are up to date. Every time I open I get a gray screen followed by an error box stating “game encountered an unexpected error”.

Every past forum post relevant to this is something generic like out of date drivers, but I do not fall into this category. I’m hoping someone could assist with my issue as I’d love to get into D3 again.
The most common reason for Diablo 3 crashing on launch lately has been an old bugged version of Razer Chroma that is still lingering on some systems.
The easiest fix for this would be to install Razer Synapse 3 (installing the optional Chroma features) and then completely uninstall Synapse 3. Uninstalling should removed the old bugged Chroma version that is causing these crashes for Diablo 3.
