Not only was a bad enough idea to let all players keep all season items (including Ethereals weapons) and paragon (which is the first time), because of it half of the fun of PTR is gone (seen the progression and how it scales till GR150 either in solo or group by getting new not perfect rolled items).
That been said, cause you guys gives us no heads up we either need to have the lucky to have our best items on stash and gems too (which I didn’t, they were all equiped) many of us lost all our good items and 150’s gems and the willing to play PTR (after waiting 2 entire days for this messed up situation).
So, can we at least re-copy our chars into PTR for the 2nd time?!
Or unlimited times like it always has been?!
Because right now we can only copy once. And there’s no point to many of us play PTR with all those problems and lost actual season progression.

In fact, I think that the PTR has been released to test the new season, and not to put ethereal as it is, because that way you don’t test the season’s theme, and it stays in the same old season that is currently happening, they should restart the PTR and put a character at lvl 0, paragon 0, as it has always been, get all the items and assemble the new builds for the new season, thus testing the season’s theme.
Don’t think you get the point of a PTR. They don’t want to test what you want, they want to test what they want. If it not something you want to test, skip and get on with your life.

I don’t own a console and know nothing about them.
Isn’t there only one server for the PTR? Can console players access it?
Maybe someone should ask the console manufacturers about that.
What logic?
The purpose of the PTR is to test changes to the game before it goes Live.
Sometimes it seems that many players take it as early access to Season content and not for testing.
Do you think there’s some other “logic” to what the PTR is for? On the Battle․net App it even spells it out: Public Test Realm. What “logic” do you need to figure that out?

It wasn’t even in between the lines. They explicitly asked for PC and macOS players to play together if possible. Console players have no skin in this game so they maybe should go sit down and stop making pointless noise.

I can race Rank1 paragon on Seasonal Character, I can race Rank1 class clears and I can race Rank1 group clears. And all of that it is a planning of what will I do for next season…
Maybe you didn’t notice, but game it is on maintance mode!! So, there’s no new items, sets, buffs or whatever for PC players to test. And even with that I still have my own stuff that I want to do…
