These two clowns just got me killed in town

As one of the best Diablo players you would think he would show his profile. Just pick an account anyone.

If only that player hadn’t quit a few weeks back then they might have been able to do as you suggested.

wrong. in bastion’s keep it’s possible that monsters will enter the area and kill you

wrong. if two players finished the rift while the 3rd was idling in town, urshi will leave as soon as the two players have upgraded their gems. the 3rd player will be able to upgrade his gems if he gets to urshi before the other players in the rift have finished upgrading his gems.

so probably what happened was that the two guys were done with gems, he teleported to them to get his loot, and something killed him when he arrived. then the rift got closed and his gravestone got teleported to town

Then they kept a Pylon around with a Nemesis bracer and when he hops in, they clicked it. That explains the most common possibility.

or OP clicked the pylon himself. in any case, his gravestone gets tp to town when rift gets closed

I imagine the best players are doing streams, or have youtube chanels showing their skills, shareing their ideas, etc. But no, this guy just boast, whitout proof. And thinks “threatening” that he will quit playing, will be the doom of the franchise. Phatetic.

how is this possible…only way you can teleport back to town is using your town portal…
not accusing you of anything but are you making this up to try and get your character back?

If they’d all done their gem upgrades at Urshi, and one of the others went back to town to speak to Orek to complete the GR, all players that were in the GR would be teleported back to town upon its closure.

Which means as we suspected and shown on his weakly geared character with no artisan upgrades, he leeched them for a high tier Greater Rift run.

how much time has to pass before the 3rd can’t upgrade? I thought no matter what Urshi will stay up until EVERYONE finishes upgrading gems

how…I’ve played since day 1 I’ve never seen monsters entering bastian keep…except for maybe campaign…not adventure mode

I have no idea either, can anyone confirm this? How can you get outed when you spent a key but idle in the town? Without sparing a key voluntarily you wouldn’t be able to teleport to anyone inside the Greater Rift. Story only makes sense when he gets outed by the system like that.

This is what poolbarbs and now pool znecs do. They port to town before the boss spawns, therefore they will get no gear and no urshi upgrades. In the time rest kills boss, picks up gear, talk to urshi, the pbarb/pnec has found a pool, team opens new gr and tp to pool.

this makes no sense to me…can you possibly explain it better…

This aplies to speeds 4 man, for example rat runs (znec, zbarb, 2x rats). The barb tp’s to town at like 95% progression of grift. Because he was out of the grift before the boss spawns he will get no loot and no urshi gems. He looks for pools in the meantime the rest of the team finishes the grift and does their gemups. I get it sounds confusing, but this is how it works, try it once, exit before boss spawns and dont re enter before boss is dead and see if u get anything.

Yes, but that doesn’t really explain how they killed him (OP)

No, but it is probably how snake explained it. Someone asked how it is possible to not get gemups, thats what i explained. So most probable, leecher was in town, boss was killed, he tp’d to players, some straggling bat was around or zombie in that halls of agony spawn spot in gr, he got killed, gr closed and gravestone in town.

OP probably upgraded gems first, then players in town saw ‘speak to Orek’ pop up and went to close rift while he was picking up loot last.

It makes sense. I never really liked people leaching unless I’m Power Leveling them.

If that was what the OP stated had happened, which would be stupidly easy to notice, then maybe you’d have a point. Otherwise, wrong.
