The reason why higher drop rates will follow after personal loot

There is no statement blizzard has made on what loot system they are implementing in D2R… your claim that I can still play with FFA loot is not only pointless but based off of no evidence.

Personal Loot will negatively affect the way diablo 2 is meant to be played

Your claim that they would implement personal loot and do away with FFA loot is pointless until Blizzard announces something. Your argument that personal loot would negatively affect D2 is also pointless. You guys keep making these threads based off of speculation and panic.

Matthew Cederquist has stated that D2R will have FFA loot. Presumably, they could change their mind. For most, the question is whether we will also have a personal loot option in addition to FFA.

Can I suggest that you do more due diligence before providing misinformation and/or edit your posts when you learn the facts?

Then why are you and anyone else even bothering to try. It’s obvious this is how the game was and should be played. I suggest all the private looters start advocating for their own mode exclusively to stop the debate. Why would a FFA looter care about you playing the different version separately?

That is what we’ve been arguing, the only difference would be a choice of at character creation or game creation.

Logically, at game creation would not hurt FFA players at all.

Some still seem to want at character creation, which would be fine as well.

Lots of people don’t even want people to have the option to play personal loot on a separate realm, which I find selfish and irrational.

I honestly dont understand why we talk about it so much here on bn forums. Its pretty obvious that they want to keep it as much close to original as possible and most importantly more people were against personal loot in survey than for it. No way its gonna be implemented.

Actually the survey was 49 percent to 39 percent for personal loot, please amend your post so people don’t get confused.

49 was with the like 14% who wanted personal but with 100% MF drop or something to that effect, full pure yes to no, no’s actually won, but let’s just put 49 and 39 with no explanation. Please amend your post so people don’t get confused.

Had to

They weren’t specific on the caveat but you can’t just put those into the “no” category. I would have asked all of these questions in a more thought out way, but as of now it’s the best survey I’ve seen. Any survey has its flaws.

I am looking at it right now:

YES: 36%
NO: 39%

Yes but only if there is trade-off(e.g. less drops or 100MF if active): 13%

I am not sure: 12%

This clearly shows that only 36% want it, I dont understand why you count it together with those who said yes with requirement. Its clear that even players who want personal loot cant decide which way to go. If that 36% was for YES, why they didnt vote for that second yes option hm?

Sorry, not gonna happens, you still have only 36% : 39% or 13% : 39%

True but you misrepresenting it while complaining someone else should clarify, bit funny no?

I’m not misrepresenting anything.
I’m stating an unequivocal truth, that 49 percent of respondents said yes.

Still misrepresenting…

NO was 39% YES 36% read above in my previous post.

Yes with a caveat is still a yes.

True but when people here talk personal they talk no change, so therefore shouldn’t the yes with caveat not be considered, or do we now open the doors to loot changes for personal.

Can’t have it both ways.

You cant count them together lol, they are separated opinions stop pretending its the same…

Even if you would count it together even if thats not the right way how to do it, you have 49% which is not even 50% player base. Not gonna happen dude, thats still not enough %.

Getting personal loot with some sort of de-buff is literally worse for the purists than just making it flat personal loot though… that is absurd as it changes the game.

It has to be separate. There is a higher likelihood of personal looters wanting more changing to the game. Which are just as bad from the free for all looters perspective.

Stop with the effort of forcing us to play your version of the game or resisting playing on a separate server. What do the personal looters not understand? We. Do. Not. Want. It. We. Do. Not. Want. To. Play. With. You.

Why wouldn’t 49 percent be enough to appease? There could be any number of surveys done and I don’t doubt sometimes ploot would come out on top and sometime FFA would. They’re just surveys, but it shows there is massive interest in both game modes.

Why wouldn’t they want to sell the game to both player bases? There’s no reason why they couldn’t implement both on game creation.

If he can count them together I can too lol. I think those who said not sure are more inclined for NO, so its 49%:51% lol
