Hey, could it be? The sixth class would be the Pale Knight which would eventually become a new kind of Paladin class of Inarius. They seem to be religious, just like the D2 Paladin and D3 Crusader. That would be fun to play. Inarius seem to have started a knight order as the release trailer shows they are believing in the Light or rather in Inarius as they seems to believe he is their god. Broad Shield with one handed weapon (Spear, Flail, Sword and Polearms as secondary for more dps)
Would be awsome if The Pale Knight becomes the sixth class. Ok I got sold after watching/seeing the release trailer. It would be perfect as a new Paladin class as they were pretty much extinct order, as was the Crusaders. If Inarius created a new kind of paladin that is even more religious and can use holy powers by calling upon Inarius as he is the only Angel that will speak to Humans as the Heavens gates been closed for a long time. And he really is the Father of humanity of Sanctuary. And using roman/spartan shield technique would be awsome, using big shields. Like the Rogue has hes/hers story quest line, The Pale Knight could get his/her orders from newly build Churches from priests or priestesses in devotion of Inarius. Like the priestess from the trailer.
He should also talk like the priestess do in the diablo 4 trailer, in my opinion.
I would definity play one, dev team. plz make it happend. Make the Pale Knight the sixth class.
If I had known more about that Inarius was already out of hell and started heâs own order of Paladins/Crusaders (Pale Knights) I would never had suggested a dark knight class as I believed the was no paladins or crusaders around anymore as humanity had fallen and as the angels closed their gates and left humanity to its own fate. It would mean the paladins and crusaders had lost their power and was no longer paladins/crusader but with Inarius back and he created a new order of paladins/crusaders to fight hell spawn, Inarius would be able to send his powers to the Pale Knight.
They would be foolish not to make the Pale Knight playable class. Well anything is possible in the future, due the leak of the picture of classes were a Knight with wings was in the middle of the picture which was quickly removed.
Give us such awsome trailer and we canât play that Pale Knight, would be such a let down.
Not having a âholyâ class in a game such as Diablo is 100% sacrilege.
As for the âhunterâ class, werenât they trying to do the Amazon, but couldnât because they are all women? You would have to name the men Myrmidon? If they left it as hunter, it would work. But I guess they opted for the Rogue instead.
Yeah I know, But Rogue was the better choice in my opinion (And Im happy they did as I have for long time wanted to play a rogue in diablo games) as it gives more options. Some wanted Amazon but it wouldnât have worked. But if those who wanted to play Amazon can choose Rogue and then join the Sisters of the sightless eye they would have their Amazon as the sisters of the Sightless eye are a group of outcast Amazons. But Im sure there will be some kind of armor set similar to the Amazon armor ingame.
There wasnât one in Diablo or Hellfire but you could select spells and get a Warrior to feel like a holy warrior with a few extra tricks like Stone Curse and what not.
That would work. The paladin and the crusader order fell. That leaves the templars to pick up the slack. The crusaders parted from the paladins, why not the pale nights from the templars?
Maybe since we help him destroy the old one. And it would still be shield and spear like the Pale Knight soâŚMaybe and they did notâŚcanât find the word well use Angel magic. But then again how old was he, it doesnât say. But he look like middle aged man and it has been 50 years that have past since diablo 3. Hmm
Maybe Inarius and Kormac met each other at some point after Diablo 3 and they build a new order together and his followers countinue were Kormac left with Inarius like passing the torch.
Ohh that part I remember clearly that they said 50 years have passed since diablo 3, was in the first presentation unless they changed their minds.
