The Next Hit Always Misses(NHAM) bug needs to get fixed

And I don’t wanna hear the crap about it being “part of the original experience”. Melee has always been weaker than ranged, both in clear speed and needing much better gear to make the build function. Then on top of that we have this bug which completely cripples the viability of various melee characters like Fury druids and Fendzons. Can we at least remove this bug artificially nerfing melee?

This should definitely be addressed.

If they’re going to get rid of Ebugging and WSG, they may as well get rid of this dumb bug too, lol.

Yes. Of all the bugs, I think the community would get behind fixing this most easily.

The ‘this has always been part of the original experience’ excuses is krap. They choose to address the WSG and eth bugging which are also part of the original experience but they keep this very detrimental bug in there with that claim?

Fix this and give melee a fighting chance.

This reminds me of the Classic/shared stash fiasco.

What the heck is going on with the development of this game? do they have to go cubicle to cubicle @headquarters to find someone who has played D2?

I really don’t get how they can fix WSG and Ebug but let this error exist with the argument “part of the original experience”…

my logic is undeniable
(you have to read it with the stupid creepy female computer voice).

Have faith my geriatric friend! We don’t know for sure if Ebugging or WSG will be permanently removed.

True, we have only < 3 weeks to find out. (edit - this looks like a heart lol)

This is going to be fun guys, even though I’m sure for each of us we won’t be getting exactly the changes/nochanges we want. Can’t wait.

If I could put my money behind any of these changes, it would be this one. That bug is the only thing stopping me from maining a fury druid. It’s a screen punching-ly annoying bug.

Yup, this bug is extremely detrimental to the gameplay experience and effectively nerfs a bunch of different melee builds. Maybe I’d like to try a spearazon some day, but there’s just no point with this bug being a thing. It turns your defensive abilities like dodge/avoid/evade into liabilities because every attack in your fend sequence will miss if a single enemy triggers your evasion. This bug literally ruins a bunch of cool character builds.

Agreed. This definitely needs to be fixed. I’m surprised they haven’t already.

The worst part is people were asking about it and they said “it was part of the original gameplay experience”. Yeah, a terrible part of the original experience.

All bugs needs to be fixed.

No kidding they have no consistency with what they say which is a really BIG red flag. I still waiting for them to say we not fixing Assassin Trap bug cause of effecting the original experience…

I hope post launch they fix Fury and Fend and this bug.

The excuse of it was broken before so we leave it broken now, is kinda really stupid.

Yeah it really is. Hopefully this gets enough attention and they reconsider their stance.

Yeah, they should have kept ebug and fixed this. Again, ebug helps players, and this bug just hurts melee builds which arent very good to begin with since hitting depends on level. Its a frustrating annoying bug, and melee needs help anyway. Its just a very minor buff anyway

Sounds like a stupid bug to have in the game and doesn’t really contribute to anything that would create a positive experience( ie. WSG being a counter to the ‘stunlock XXXX life to 0’ gameplay).

All of the newbs who get affected by this are going to be like ‘wtf?’ or not even notice enough to realize that there is a bug. If you blow up E-bugging and WSG, this definitely should go. Again, if you remove WSG(there are reasons to remove it - asking newbs to do this as a mechanic might be punishing/nowhere explainedi n the game - but it should be addressed by doing something with stuns in a limited capacity) you should definitely get rid of this.

The fury druid has been my favorite character since I was a kid playing at my cousins place. Back then I noticed that I was missing hits a lot and it felt frustrating… Even though I still enjoy building up a wolf druid I still feel bad about it 20 years later and tbh I took it as a given that this would surely be fixed for d2s remaster.

Please fix it.

Please guys,
take your time and fix this bug.

Kind regards
