Yeah, I think if there was ONE bug to fix in the whole thing it would be this one. Nothing else effectively removes core pieces of several class’ build trees, and actively penalizes you for even attempting to use them.
Exactly, there’s nothing fun or skilled about this bug. It’s just a build ruining bug that worsens the game experience.
If they will don’t fix nham , new players just leave this game…hit interruption animation is triggered by effects like stun, knockback, hit recovery, block, or dodge…HR ,block ,dodge and evade becomes to full trash for melee classes,for example zealot(pal) after blocking just miss all his zeal strikes ,same with fury wolf-druids,this is insane bug! And they just say “part of the original experience”. In original game this bug was reason for don’t play melee classes for me.
Yes it does need to be fixed, along with every other bug. No excuse to leave bugs in for a remaster. That’s one of the points of a remaster. If someone wants bugs, they can play legacy.
100% agree. They removed WSG , Ebug and Str bug… which were all very popular and liked. Yet they dont remove the damn NHAM bug that everyone hates? lolwut?

Actually, I think “nostalgia” mentioned by devs about NHAM is simply a marketing-friendly replacement of “it is very hard and dangerous fix, we have not enough time for it before release”.

I totally agree, this bug needs to be fixed, it adds nothing to the game and detracts new players. A bug is not a feature in my opinion, if they wanted it to be a feature, they need to do something about it to make sense.
The multiple strike abilities had that perk, maybe if they deal with single attacks instead of a “sequence” based on the first. Or just reduce the mana consumption, create faster animations and being individual strikes from those skills and scalate with the number of hits done.
Like aspd improvements from werewolf form or fanaticism. Those skills having smaller breakpoints as their level increases.Being, literally, one hit with faster breakpoints triggering similar animations if needed.
Both paths I think could be achieved, not sure how they would keep the animation “similar” as the current one if they do individual strikes perk. Could be even better when block,dodge happens.
Not only melee, ranged (like amazon’s strafe and dodge skills too).The animation lock has issues across several stuff.
My bet would be faster frames and single hits on those frames. Instead of “sequence”. Dunno how sequence perk could be solved by being dealt individually, it’s a old framework with several bugs in it.
Animation lock, block, AR misses are variables too heavy on any sequential-hit builds.

It would seem like all the hate blizzard got over fixing some bugs for the alpha destroyed there will to fix any more bugs than they already had and they may even revert some for all we know. Once we get a changelog for the release in the next week or so we will have a better understanding.
To me, it sounds like this bug was left in the game because it was hard to fix.
They fixed WSG when it was SUPER obvious that it would affect PvP in a major way, but they didn’t fix NHAM and I believe no one really understands why.
I don’t trust public announcements anymore, they never admitted they removed TCP/IP support because of it allowing the game to be cracked. They tried to make it look like they were looking out for us instead.
I don’t mind if they try to earn money, if they where honest I would still trust them, but I hate it when they try to get away with lying.
Maybe if they had not fixed the bugs players liked and instead went after bugs players didn’t like they would not have gotten so much hate for fixing bugs…
the problem with this is of course people are going to like or dislike bugs for different reasons.
I know you think it will be universally loved but there are ranged players out there right now that are probably happy that nham is not being removed.
People in this community have shown a strong favoritism for stuff that benefits them personally and hate for anything that is meant to improve the experience for others.
There will absolutely be people who believe that this bug is the only thing that balances certain specs in there mind and it would ruin things.
I wish they would fix the bug but i knew that it would be a hard fight to get them to fix anything once people started seeing some bugs fixed because that’s just the way people are in a huge group.
NHAM hurts bowazons just as much and barely affects the other ranged classes at all. I guess you could argue it being a thing in pvp but that’s about it. WSG being fixed already massively benefits the ranged classes anyway.
I didn’t see anyone asking for ebugging or str bugging to be fixed, and WSG is highly debated both ways. It should have just been left in.
The bugs that got fixed did not completely break entire skills.
