During Season 24 and the last season we were able to collect ethereals for an achievement and to unlock them as transmoggs. Yet, some users experienced that the said achievement will not transfer over to the Feats of Strength after the season concluded.
I had that happen to me. Several others reported that in another forum post. And I guess it happened again.
Its frustrating to work hard on such an achievement and then have it taken from you after the season ends ;(. I got the AVM but it didnt transfer over to FoS. The transmoggs I still got, though.
If the Achievement disappears when the Season ends, then it won’t be listed at all. It’s like one of those “out of sight, out of mind” deals. And what are you going to do with the “Achievement” anyway? Post screenshots of it?
If you have the Ethereal Transmogs, that’s proof enough that you got the Achievement. Remember: You don’t get the Achievement or the Transmogs until you’ve collected ALL 21 Ethereal Weapons.

I’m beginning to wonder if the Achievement is linked to the Ethereal Weapons themselves. I don’t know anything about software programming or game development. But, since the game deletes any Ethereal Weapons when the Season ends, maybe the Achievement gets deleted with the Weapons.
Unfortunately, I don’t expect Blizzard to re-code this to fix the issue.
From what I recall of the original Bug Report thread…
…there was a period of months when the achievement (and transmogs) were available and then the achievement disappeared for everyone, and the transmogs disappeared for some people but not others. For example, I earned the achievement in July 2021 and thread about this disappearing was from December 2021, i.e. I think that was significantly after the season in which it was achieved had ended.
Indeed, since the last update we got from Blizzard was also in 2021…
As they didn’t fix it in the last three years, I can’t see them doing so now.
