Sorry if I miss something but was the Alter no suppose to be a permanent feature in the game this patch?
I went to Tristram and is was not there, is it only for seasons? or will it come to the eternal servers at the end of this season?

I was not, I was hopping to fill in the Alter as permanent power boost.
Ah well, one can dream.
Nope, the Blizzard fun police waved their batons at the Altar coming to non-season. I guess they don’t want people getting attached to the game long term after it is put out to pasture.

Yep, you missed uproar when patch 2.7.7 dropped and the petition thread with over 240 likes that Nikookaburra linked above.
Pop in there and give it a like and supportive comment if you have a moment.
Of note is Perusoe’s comment where he checked out all three servers when the patch dropped and the Altar was showing on the Asia server for a hot second before disappearing the next time he logged into it.
