Which region? I just checked the Americas and had no issues logging in or making a game. I am seeing no replies by CS on twitter related to D3 issues either.
Well twitter in their epic stupidity have changed the way it works. They don’t want you to follow people but topics instead. So things no longer show up in your feed like they used to.
No issues with D3, apply patch, log in fine Americas region.

That is why I directly checked the BlizzardCS twitter and read all their posts/replies under that link. I wanted to see if they gave anyone else D3 advice today. So far, no. That was the Americas Twitter, to be clear. I did not check the other Regions.
I keep getting an error message about the server being down. Need to hit the Escape button and it goes away, but it’s annoying. Not good if playing HC.

That is odd. I wonder if it is the chat server/bnet server type thing that is down. It can give a similar message, but does not usually impact gameplay. If you have any doubts about playing HC please be safe and skip it!
Yes getting the same here on the East coast. “D3 game servers not available” Code 34200. Game freezes and then bang, back in the game, got out of HC before I was killed. SC is just as bad.

I;m having similar issue, I get in game, few minutes error messages pops up muliple times, then it kicks me out of game. It looks like not everyone has this issue, only a few? why?

Error 34200. Every time start game.
Hit Escape and wait a few seconds.

I am seeing quite a few reports now of the 34200 error. Please be careful if you play HC.
No info on what might be causing it yet or an ETA.

Issues crop up from time to time with other systems and such getting updated alongside patches of the game; Error 34200 in this case.
We’re currently looking into it and should have something out here soon to remedy the issue.

So essentially, the patch went live before the backend was fully brought up to date (it happens on occasion), yes?

The short answer is no.
But, with that said, We put out a fix and it doesn’t look to be occurring anymore.
Players might be able to provoke the issue by spamming the Collections Tab, but we haven’t seen it happen in quite some time.
Please let us know if there are any more issues or you’re still encountering it

The only way I’m going to be spamming the collection’s tab is if you put in a feature wherin if I click an item enough times in a row it explodes or does something weird (think: StarCraft units).

The error 34200 is not related to logging in. It happens after log in once players are in game.
If you can’t log in at all, you have a different issue. What error message do you get?
