knowing blizzard at this point the ‘‘early access’’ beta for PRE-ORDERING in ‘‘AUGUST’’ (completely vague and opaque timeframe) will be on august 31st at 23:59, the lack of communication on their part is horrendous already, they really don’t care about the community and that’s not surprising but Soon™ and Stay Tuned® is getting old, just give us an official date already instead of laughing at all the speculation in the forums that takes place every day since August began. Getting tired of blizzard already, is it that hard to be transparent to your customers/community?

Yeah it’s getting old. Like even if they don’t have a specific date nailed down, shouldn’t they have a week in mind or something that they could tell us? Praying for another Tuesday announcement tomorrow about beta.

They’ll announce the beta when they’re ready to announce it. It’s a beta test, it’s not like you’re going to keep any progression anyway. The test could very well have problems that could prevent us from playing during a portion of the testing period.
We at least have an official release date of the game. Lets be happy that we have that.
Suggestion to pass the time: Go play Minesweeper and try to beat the preset expert minefield in less than 90 seconds.

Blizzard probably has the date down for quite some time, but it’s the most common thing in the world, to publish dates only when variables are ruled out and they are sure, they achieve all milestones, which have to be tested, until that date.

I’ve been trying to think about how this forum would react if Blizz came out and Said August 17, then on Aug 15 said something came up and the new date is Aug 20.
They REALLY don’t get that Blizzard isn’t our buddy, but rather we have the same relationship with them as we do to the local grocery store. They are not obligated to tell us anything they are not 100% comfortable sharing

What’s really getting old is all the people whining and complaining every single day, multiple times per day that there hasn’t been a release date announced. Isn’t there already enough threads about this? Why do people feel the need to make new threads complaining about the exact same thing? That’s getting old.

And you’re complaining about them complaining lol. Just ignore the threads. If Blizzard was more open with communication, these threads wouldn’t exist though. Plenty of other companies are more transparent.

They probably have a week in mind, but are afraid to tell us in case they cant meet the deadline.
Since some people are not very friendly here towards deadlines not met.

Guys, the likely hood of this game seeing significant patches post release is pretty slim, I’d rather they take their time and get it right, and release it as a polished product.
