SSF - castrated mode?

SSF - low portals

group game - high portals

SSF + bounty = so slow

group game + bounty = very fast

If you don’t like SSF mode, don’t play it… Very simple.

As far as the paragon 800 limit, that is part of season 29, it is not limited to just SSF.

If you need a refresher of the patch notes, here they are:

I mostly run solo anyway I do not need a group to carry me, season journey is easy peasy.
Solo players always do it alone, group players leech off of others in the group for everything.

I’m interested to see where I stand with other SSF players when it comes to getting to 70…most peeps group up and get there in 30-45mins…it will make the early day leaderboards more interesting for sure.

I would put little weight into the “30-45 minutes to 70”. I’ve kept track of the leaderboards for over 10 seasons now. As the first 70 points you get on the achievement leaderbards are going to be getting to Level 70 (and includes a time stamp of when you acquired that score as well). Excluding last Season and Season 22, only 4 players have ever gotten to Level 70 in under 50 minutes, and only one player has ever done it more than once.

This is Season 27 for me hitting 70.

I’m the 3rd player on Asia, 7th player on EU, and 2nd player on Americas to hit 70. I missed being the first player to 70 by 2 minutes on Asia and 1 minute on Americas. Lybrix on EU was the only player to hit 70 in under 50 minutes.

But it will also create some new approaches to the season start. Do you level to 70 slower and get bounties mixed in, or do you hold until you hit 70? Bounties are required for Haedrig’s, and a horrible killer in time. Thus, the first player to 70 will probably not be the first player to Haedrig’s Gift.

That’s crazy talk.

You can’t go around using logic and basic thinking around here.

It’s the same for every person playing SSF, that’s the beauty of it.

If you chose to play SSF on your own will, why do you care so much on what group doing in normal mode?

lmao you quit D4 to come play D3 because it’s better.

By that logic, if players don’t like the 800 paragon cap, they shouldn’t play the season at all, right?

I play both games don’t you have D2 to quit.

I’m against 800 cap also. I think I will just get the stashtab and then go play on my nonseason account instead. F S29.

You too quit boy. You too.

interesting… i wonder how the copy your characters will work (reading from the patch notes), I have much more than 800 paragon on my characters if it will max it to 800 or if it will allow all of them to be used via copy.

I would assume that a character copy with higher than 800 paragon would simply be restricted to 800 for the PTR. Either the points in core (or all) would be automatically reset, or any points in excess of 50 in any field in core would be reduced to 50.

You can play non-seasonal on the PTR and check out non-seasonal changes if you want. That’s what a character copy is for.

For seasonal play on the PTR you need to start a new character as usual.
