And here I’m stuck with my controller on my X because Blizzard doesn’t want us to use a keyboard and mouse…
What’s next? He’s going to complaint that PvP is unfair with his controller? Keyboard pk him too hard?..

It can go either way for me ploot or ffa I’m good with either ploot gives everyone a pice of the pie ffa is just first come first serve and it’s a great feeling when you actually get a good drop on ffa but it can go either way for me
This proves once again that D2 is a solo game. Even when we play in 8 players pub games, it’s still 8 solo players in the same game.
When you do 80% of damage…maybe 20% of that comes from the Paladin’s aura…and another 20% from the necro curse. Maybe you were able to deal more damage thanks to the barbarian warcries…and so on!
I LOVE D2, and I often read it’s perfect…well, as a solo game, probably…but as a multiplayer, sorry, it’s far from being perfect.
The simple fact that we “have to” solo MF proves that the multiplayer is broken for 95% of players. The rest being bots and “power players”.
But it can go either way for me too, I’ve played year with this “broken” multiplayer mode.
Exactly thats how it should be. You can’t imagine the happiness if you are the one getting it. (sometimes)
That’s one of the adrenaline kicks… ye but i get it - u wanna walk behind, looking around, scratchin your balls and give a f*** how much attention you pay or how much you work on your looting skills - but get a loot too.
Reminds me of: Can somebody take me through some high grifts? I started new and want to have Paragon Lvl 600+ and have my middle to end equip in about 2 hours without doing S***.
Because you’re still going to get more loot in a solo game? You really think everyone’s gonna get their own pile of loot from the boss??? More like a computer is gonna roll dice and give 5 players out of 8 1 item. How many times does it have to be said grouping was never for the loot but for the experience? Or do we just ignore that statement and keep crying for loot pinatas
And rod just tweeted personal loot isn’t happening
I was happy to see this today as well but as a console player I could care less about this issue right now. I like the old style looting but with the current condition of matchmaking it will be like personal loot in almost every game anyway. Lobbies and chat should be addressed in the same manner as this whole personal loot thing in my opinion, either good or bad.
Well he never said lobbies weren’t happening, just that it wouldn’t be before launch. Question is how long after, a week? A month? 3 months?
Right, I have been checking daily. I know I will play the game regardless. It brings me back to my childhood lol. I am just curious as to what it is going to be. I’d like to know either way because the current system definitely needs an over haul.
D2 isn’t getting a different loot system he just tweeted this earlier today. But if you’re asking everyone to get on board with blizzard finally tackling the bot issue I am on board.
I’m all for a crack down on bots even though I used them back in the day myself I understand the detriment.
Kinda wish the map was just auto revealed though.
There is no risk the games you make stay up for 5min so you can transfer between characters without ever losing a item just requires you to make a new game and ping pong back an forth between characters. The shared stash tab is a QoL feature for blizzard which means less games will be made less strain on there servers due to easier ways to transfer items.
i am sorry, after losing to much stuff doing this, i use public games to do it instead. it’s way way safer that way. i have had games just disappear on me even though i had been in them for longer than 10 mins.
anyways, with shared stash, people will keep every thing thus more things will be worth less. like low runes and gems. bots don’t pick that stuff up but with shared stash they will.
in vanilla, it’s all about choice. what to pick up. what to keep. what to risk losing by muling. that’s the real d2 game play, changing this is huge no matter what people say.
Haha I remember doing that too. Always freaked me out
Doesn’t really make much sense considering it’s just a few tabs that are shared with all your characters… it’s not like they are giving you 4 tabs per characters. It’s 1 tab per character 3 account tabs. On Diablo 2 classic you could make a infinite number of accounts full of mules there was no purchase required to make a account so you could technically have hundreds of mules on 1 cd-key. On D2R you will have your 40$ game purchase bound to your account. Meaning you won’t get infinite mules an actually have less space. They added a little transferring convenience while lowering the amount of mules you can have per account. So not sure how it is a hard choice in vanilla considering you have more space.
Solo Private Games with password
Player A +ploot

Co-op publick game with personal loot

2Player B +ploot
3Player C +ploot
4Player D +ploot
5Player E +ploot
6Player F +ploot
7Player G +ploot
8Player H +ploot
So, what the different between this?
In co-op, more players means harder monsters and slightly more chances to get a good item (nullify this effect, and don’t cry about your precious economy). But I think no need to nullifies this. No personal loot, and massive part of players go to solo private game, yeah, amazing multiplayer experience… And please don’t tell about exp, we’re talking about loot.
shared stash is a major d3 feature yet it’s being put into d2r. so i ask, why is it some things things from d3 being used in d2r is ok, while others are not? basically cherry picking what you like and what you don’t like. if it was a true remaster, there would be no shared stash: it’s from d3 so there for it shouldn’t happen, right?
having a PL setting, to me, is a QoL addition. just like it is in d3. if it’s done right, the only change will be is how the loot is distributed and that’s about it.
no one here who is suggesting a pl setting is saying it has to be done nor should it be exactly like d3, no most of us are saying: let’s test it on a test server and see what happens. that or just have it as two seperate realms: no changes d2r and then d2r+ where development is continued.
D2 storage was nerfed in d2r, this was blizzards decision not the gamers. You also were mistaken an said we would have more space in D2R which we have less. You said d2 was all about choice what to pick up what to keep blizzard helped you in that department.
Nope. The devs made that decision. I already purchased the game. An I am I not going to waste my time whining over a executive decision blizzard made that in reality helps part of the core elements of d2 according to you.
Also them adding 3 stored stash tabs an removing infinite accounts and mules is a small step to combat botting. Where do you think all those items were stored? In 3 small shared stash tabs? Or on 10,000 free account mules.
