If the pylons and shrines are at the door at next level, the clone should follow you through I like that you can have more then one clone
I find this to be very annoying. I can almost understand that the Clone does not follow you to town, but it certainly should follow you through doors and across Waypoints to other parts of the level or map.
Like most things like this that Blizzard does; a great idea implemented so poorly that it takes all the fun out of it.
It’s not that Blizzard wasn’t aware of this as it was pointed out in the PTR and they had weeks to fix it.

I’m actually waiting for the first HC charactes to complain getting killed because of monsters reflecting the damage of their spawned seasonal clones.
The first time my lifesaver procs from that in a GR100 will be the last time I hit a pylon or shrine this Season.
Well, that’s fine if you’re soloing it, but you’re sh** out of luck if you’re in a party and one of your party members has a projectile build, hits a pylon and you have or get (Nemesis Bracer) a reflect damage type.
Well, when you play Hardcore you learn that Nemesis Bracers will just get you killed. It is important to know that the monsters do not spawn at the pylon or shrine; they spawn at your character, and they usually attack instantly.
I think it would be better if they did but I see it as part of the game and not something horrible.
Granted I haven’t done any pushing yet and getting a clone right at the door and losing it 2 seconds later isn’t a problem when you are speed farming.
