Severe errors in clan mechanics (Urgent)

Just keeping the thread alive in hopes ANY dev sees it and responds.

This issue is still persisting after multiple weeks have gone bye, now the end of the season has been announced. This is usually a time where we help each other gather anything needed and get ready for the next season, this issue is making it very difficult for this community to enjoy this great game together.

We all would appreciate any help in getting the issue resolved for our clan and the other clans we have found effected by this same issue.

According to the Devs, they see all the bug reports, and frown upon bumping threads. See: How to Write a Good Bug Report.

We read every single thread that is posted on this forum. However, we will not always respond to every thread. If you do not get a blue response, please DO NOT bump posts. We will ignore and possibly delete any post that simply says “Bump” or demands a response from a Blizzard poster.

I personally frown upon Blizzards M.O. of silence in handing bugs in this forum, and think they are turning their own players against themselves.

If I had to guess, they are working on it, and since the next patch is a few weeks away, and that not that many people are playing right now, they are just putting it off until the full patch is ready.

I think that is a terrible idea, but I would guess that is what they are doing.

Blizzard will not ban you for complaining. The most they will do is ban you from posting in the forums for a while if you break the forum code of conduct. But even writing a scathing criticism is not against the rules.

I would encourage everyone who is having the clan issues to come forward and post so that it will draw more attention to the issue. Everyone is entitled to say what they think (within reason).

What they want to avoid is the same people posting the same thing over and over again, or just saying “Bump”, and not adding anything new to the conversation.

That’s not correct.

The bug is if you receive an in-game chat silence penalty (i.e. you say something objectionable in game, people report you, a GM checks the chat logs, and agrees you were naughty) then you cannot create or join a Diablo III game until the penalty expires. This can occur regardless of which Blizzard game the objectionable chat was in, i.e. you could say something naughty in WoW, receive a 24 hour chat ban, and for those 24 hours you’d be unable to play D3.

My mistake. Corrected.
