They aren’t going to help the Demon Hunter out this Season at all? Not even a little buff to our sets? Impale is so outplayed, we are pretty far behind the rest… 
Blizzard said DH and necros will be next patch.

D3 doesn’t have a full sized dev team. It’s a legacy game.

I don’t recall anything such. What I remember is that they said DH and necro will have their turn in the future, that doesn’t mean the very next patch.
Besides they also stated that those classes need the most attention, in that regard it makes sense to buff them last. It’ll given the devs more time to actually help those classes.

They also said they would be rolling out new sets before tweaking the balance on old stuff, so I’m not sure what that’s supposed to mean. It doesn’t sound like next patch will include much in the way of changes to builds that are underperforming for necro/dh, so I don’t see why it would take any longer.
Maybe Necro will be alright with the seasonal buff
Trust me we all tried to get something but blizzard just didn’t have the manpower or willingness to attempt even the smallest of changes and with the seasonal buff demon hunters will really be screwed compared to other classes by at least 20 grift levels. We don’t even have access to cube the Furnace like all the other classes

Season 21 should have the Necromancer and the Demon Hunter.
Will be interesting what they give the DH. Strafe set? With the thought of reworking Nat’s set in the future? Rapid Fire? Didn’t they already set up a LoN (now LoD) build? I’m sure Mara and UE will get a bit of a damage boost too.
Looking at how they made the new Wizard set Hydra when that was their best LoD build, I have a sinking feeling that the new DH set will be Rapid Fire.

I still think no reason for necro to complain. They had their moment of glory already a long time since dlc. Dh is a different story they need more love
The Devs will need to consider the impact of the Wohjanni.
If they add ST to the SP6 bonus, that would be interesting. I doubt ST will be any top build because it is too slow. (Imo)
Still, im looking forward to new dh set.

I don’t think so, that would make too many people unhappy… I might be wrong, but I am quite confident the new set will be benefitting skills which are left out for now (such as Chakram for example)
I certainly hope so as I love Chakram. I suppose we’ll find out in a few months.
Except that it wasn’t. LOD Hydra became a thing on the PTR due to them buffing supporting legendaries. LOD Meteor was their best LOD build.
On topic: Chakram, Elemental Arrow or Strafe seem most likely
And i certainly hope in ptr they take iT slow, those guys not smart
