This company is no longer Blizzard Entertainment. It is Blizzard the destroyer of fun. As stated in my post. I checked my email and I don’t have a freebie key to install D4 so I guess Blizz don’t want us to play. In truth I would still be unimpressed with D4 and its expansion. No freebie D4 key and definitely not vomiting cash for it.

Well, it was a surprise, for sure. I had no idea if this was scheduled on a normal time frame or not. I’m still not 100% sure, since there was no heads up at all.
As for it restarting, I should have said, either this coming Friday or next Friday. Not sure why I said Tuesday, although they do run maintenance and other things on Tuesdays a lot.
I know I wasn’t completely awake yet, that must have been it.

They also used to deploy Patches on Tuesday.
Blizzard seems to be putting a lot of us to sleep these days.

An intern is probably in charge since D3 is in maintenance mode now.

I’m not going to say Microsoft’s a great company. But I’m equally unconvinced Blizz was a paragon of saintly virtue that cared EXCLUSIVELY for its customers up until EXACTLY 2 years ago.

ELI5 because it sounds like you’re blaming, in your own words, “M$” for the cumulative state of Blizzard today. Which is a tiny bit unfair, but at the same time, I’m not a fan of M$ either.
Perhaps they were remembering when MS bought Nokia in order to bring out their wonderful Windows phones?

I hope we get another season and some sort of hint before it start.
Yah. But still… now that it’s ended… I hope we get a new season starting this coming Fri, rather than having to wait an extended time. Fingers crossed.
/edit: Also: Must remember not to do the challenge rift tomorrow… just to be safe…

Yeah, we have about 50 minutes, if it ends as it was expected. Unless they fix it somehow? But honestly at this point, it would be better to end it and move on, and just start the next season sooner than they planned, if it was a mistake to end it. But that’s my opinion. I have my game open, checking to see if they are pinging the time to shut down messages or not.
