They should mix 2 different seasonal themes. It shouldn’t be that hard considering that those themes existed.
At the very minimum Free RoRG and Free LoD on this season.

That would make zero difference in power balance. There are only certain builds that truly benefit from the theme.
Definitely free RoRG would work well with this theme. On top of that, don’t think free RoRG will be a stand alone theme, so mix it with this theme.
A large percentage of optimal builds use RoRG. No free RoRG and weapon spot is used optimally for most builds which means most builds will just get the freedom in the armor spot. Free RoRG would give a lot more flexibility for this season.

Ah season 4, the season that’ll forever be lost to time it seems.
I don’t have those cosmetics either. Had too much stuff in my stash incl mules and chose to sit that season out to avoid stash tetris.
Yup. To be precise, I do have some of the frames, up to Champion I think. But I did not finish that season journey because reasons, so now I’m missing a few.
Since they started recycling stuff with season 5 there is a snowball chance in hell that I will be able to complete it now. The S4 portrait frame set would have been an excellent reward for completing S30 season journey since it had zilch to offer. That’s just another missed chance for them to put in back on the table. Maybe they use it for something at some point, but I fear they won’t do that.
If there would be a chance to unlock them again, somehow, I would jump at it.

Yeah, that would have been nice. That and the frost hound too. I didn’t bother with the frost hound as I have the CE on my main account and DD on this account which has that ghost dog pet which is the same animation and sounds. But it would have been an nice guardian cosmetic reward for S30 just to pad out the gap.
I didn’t unlock the S3 portrait that season but I believe some bug in their coding (probably recycled code) ended up unlocking the portrait in a latter season for me.
I always thought that they needed to add in a season that used the S4 frames and had the S3 portrait and pennant as the Guardian rewards.
Very unlikely now that the game is on autopilot and they’re trying to make D4 desirable to play/buy… but who knows what might happen in the future.
I think the Season 31 theme will be great, IF AND ONLY IF, you have a node in the Alter of Rights that has a Ring of Royal Grandeur effect. Anything shorter than that and the season will fall flat on its face because people would be forced, or almost forced to play a Necromancer.
That’s not gonna happen…
Who else thinks that S31 should be a combination of 3 seasons, to be honest, these 3 have to merge 
Grandeur ( Free RoRG all the time ) + Shadows of the Past ( 4th cube ) + Forbidden Archives ( no cube restrictions ) any thoughts on this? @Blizzard

Hmmmm, I could be wrong, but wasn’t S20 one of the worst? Reason being is that most builds are coordinated by specific cubed items where you CAN"T use two weapons or two rings as it will be a disadvantage to most builds, so the ability to use the cubes with interchangeable goods was really pointless. I remember people suggesting to have double cube slots so that the necessity for build items can still be used with a power item being added as an additional cube slot, but of course this was never considered. I remember a necro build being the only one that benefitted from that season.
