You remember correctly. Jesseth’s has never been nerfed. Its damage buff has been the same during its entire existence and as I already mentioned, the only meaningful change happened in S21 when it went from pet damage only to all damage.

I’ve been doing seasons on and off that interest me. I did the soul shard season and the ethereal season. I just went to 2k and did 150s with a few different sets (everything but Vyr’s, basically).

Probably still not on par with other wiz XP builds, but I think good enough for me to stick with typhon only until I get my 150, and I don’t have to spend resources on other sets.

Should be pretty viable I’d think.

Typhon’s isn’t that far behind Tal’s/DMO for speeds normally anyway, and it benefits the most from adding Aether Walker since Typhon doesn’t have a teleport mechanic built in but Tal’s/DMO do.

yes that’s true, and would have been the case in a controlled system as the sheep follow the leader and the leader was Jesseth’s by a large margin, but alas the majority were not caught up to speed at that time.
