See above, it loses the flat 150%
I dont understan, u guys say kyoshiro blade is nerfed, 150%, so monk no set drop 6 lvlsā¦ I read patch notes and read nothing about this. All i can read its buffed, more dps when below 5 insted if 3. Plz help, where u get rhat nerf info from? Kindly regards
Ty for answer, but i dont understand where u get this info from, in patch notes it says buff, and all here say it looses 150%ā thats a big difference, why this isnt mentioned in patch notes?
Yeah, I understand, the new text doesnāt have the 150% anymore, you see? It lost the 150% buff.
So, they just removed a 150% buff without informing in patch notes? They just ruined wiz, and i thought i atleast had my monkā¦ That was sad. And d4 was dissapointmentā¦ Bah, time to stop this game after all theese yearsā¦
It does NOT talk about a removal though. If that be the case, developers supposed to indicate or imply that in the notes. A subtle quote from a small change can not be take at face value in my opinion. I think Kyoshiro still has its flat 150% bonus but its damage spread against group threshold is now 5 instead of 3 targets.
It didnāt have it on the PTR.
Ohā¦ Wellā¦ Either way Iād be okay, but aināt they supposed to indicate that in the patch notes directly? You know, not everyone plays PTR and that kind of change would catch them off-guard. I mean it would because my second go-to character would be a LoD Monk in S30. I thought theyāre only quoting the legendary power partially and mentioning a small tweak, instead of removing a big portion of flat damage bonus.
Letās look at Roninās recent non-season clear together.
GR150 in 9:46 w/ Paragon 10988. This adjusts to GR148.8 base power.
The set was buffed from 12,500% ā 20,000% is 59.52%, or, +3 GR buff.
With the generic Altar and Soul Shards bonus, we get another 10.3GRs making the grand total GR162.1.
A few things to consider:
- Roninās Frozen Orb clear set a record, which pushed the baseline up to GR148.8.
- Frozen Orb is the top performer for Delsere, not Twister. (as you pointed out). Frozen Orb represents the top few clears historically.
- Empowered was removed from the Shrine rotation, so we generically subtracted 1.2GRs from the Altar Bonus. (Sorry for shifting the numbers on you).
Base power adjusting to 5k gon is bit too high these days dm, idk whether you want to lower it to 2-3k mark where players today are more interested when researching pre season, especially SSF players. I think most people are more interested in early push clear info rather than time attack info post 5k+ paragon.
In my opinion, tiers above 150 isnt really practical info. The 162.1 tier if converted to 150, which appx 6.7x buff means a 15 mins 150 is appox 2.2 mins clear, which has a clearer picture in gauging build power. After all, we cant clear above 150. Players can plan their season base on what paragon/time they want to achieve with their goals. For example, if 5k paragon perfect gear = 2.2 mins 150, what kind of paragon/gears do I need if I am looking for a 10 min clear etc.
Looking at maxroll its always been a 3k tier but with the inflation its not unreasonable to have a tier based on 5k as ppl going to speed 150s first weekend in group, however I like the conversion table between lower and higher paragon esp for ssf.
The Tiers above 150 is very useful to highlight the op stuff.
(I dont agree with the ranking list, some builds that I consider ranked very over optimistic but thats a different discussion.)
I usually hit 3k first week but not SSF players.
How that? I have played 4 seasons and Iām 1800
Group play. Usually LF 150 on day 1 or 2 and speed 135-145 after.
@Abella, thanks for explaining.
Another question, can anyone explain the difference between āstate of setā and ābaselineā in the table (link) above?
Background: I understand the ranking for S30, Iād be interested to understand if I can derive a NS ranking from that as well, thatās why Iām asking for these two columns.
Remove the average 8.5GR boost due to season theme (and Altar boost if there wonāt be one in NS).
The Baseline column is the highest clear among these two data points:
-
State of Set - a spreadsheet of the best non-season clears adjusted for 5000 paragon from previous Eras, S23, and S26. We filter out obsolete builds due to nerfs/buffs from previous patches. In the context of this report, consider this the present best clears of patch 2.7.6. Any reports we produce after 2.7.7 drops can no longer can use any past baseline data for Aegis of Valor, Akkhan, & Raekor, Marauder, etc. Since this is a prediction chart, we simply indicate the expected buffs and nerfs from 2.7.7 in the S30 Buff/Nerf column.
-
S28 Data - since S28 was very popular and there were impressive clears that were amplified by Altar of Rites 1.0 node synergies, we felt it made sense to incorporate those clears into our predictions. We kept tabs on Season 28 in a separate spreadsheet and concluded S28 granted +8.8 tiers on average. You can see that spreadsheet here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17D1e7NDzbzcypK36ErNMW4NhzczYEBmieb2LSjR-dyk/
So this column is really the best S28 clears minus the average power granted by Altar of Rites 1.0.
If you look at the Barbarian clears, youāll notice H90 is the only set category that had better results in S28 compared to non-season, it may mean H90 profited more from the Altar more than the other Barb sets.
set | state of set | s28 adjusted | baseline | s30 buff/nerf | altar power | soul shards | s30 prediction |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Barb H90 | 145.2 | 147.2 | 147.2 | 1.8 | 8.5 | 157.5 | |
Barb IK | 148.6 | 144.5 | 148.6 | 1.8 | 8.5 | 158.9 | |
Barb Wastes | 148.6 | 144.7 | 148.6 | 1.8 | 8.5 | 158.9 | |
Barb MOTE | 145.9 | 144.6 | 145.9 | 3 | 1.8 | 8.5 | 159.2 |
Barb Raekor | 152.0 | 150.3 | 152.0 | -5 | 1.8 | 8.5 | 157.3 |
Barb No Set | 149.0 | 145.6 | 149.0 | 1.8 | 8.5 | 159.3 |
Ty for your work. I still think adjusting to 5k gon is too high and for seasonal purposes ( understand your data isnt season exclusives) adjusting to 2 or 3k is better.
Possibly a separate table with the paragon breakouts in their own columns.
Thanks for explaining
