For the video 'likes/dislikes", who knows. The actual youtube comments are clear. There is massive support for adding an optional loot system.

and if that comes out and alot of poor saps does not get drops every game because RGN dont like them either than they will come on the forum and ask the devs to increase the drop rate so they can have their ploot because normal rates dont satisfy their instant gratification needs. its a loop and ploot would be the start of it… FFA is the safer choice and the one i would prefer

Generally on news videos, I like based on the News.

On opinion or theory videos I base it on if I agree with opinion or the theory video.

Mainly, I would view it this way, because the Likes, could be for Any part of the news video. Could be someone liking for information on one of the earlier topics in the video.

anti-personal loot people are among the first ones to ask for extra loot on this forum. It doesn’t matter what type of loot distribution you use people will ask for extra drops that’s not a reason not to do it. Just don’t add in extra drops when they ask.

I just checked the acronym site. I do not see any threads yet (I might have missed it). If one just read the youtube video title, an acronym member might not worry until s/he actually heard what Rhykker said and the massive support for adding an optional loot system among the youtube comments.

It will be interesting to see if he ends up getting bombed from that site once a post is up. I am intrigued on seeing if they get exposed or not lol.

The sheer volume of responses already will make it more difficult. On Twitter, it was less than 200 comments total I think for Rod. Rhykker’s youtube comments are much, much more.

Micros ratio of comments is more “Important”

However, people are more likely to comment if they are angry/disagree with something.

If people are happy about something or like something they are less likely statistically to leave a comment

It doesn’t matter about my anecdotal evidence I replied with after the fact on why people liked the video. All I did was state facts when I originally posted the numbers, I then replied to Luap26 based on my own opinions with anecdotal evidence on why they liked the video. Numbers don’t lie. Try not to create a strawman out of that though.

Correct and Rhykker’s take on being pro-optional personal loot would definitely mean more negative responses. Even with that, it is overwhelming the other way in favor of a loot option. I suspect Rhykker’s viewers and reddit members more accurately reflect the D2R playerbase at launch than either here or the acronym site.

if those 2 had written anything about FFA or free loot than maybe it was relevant but they do not… later on in those 2 threads people might have started to talk about ffa and ploot but the thread wasnt made from a FFA guy but id gladly look at their thread history and see wether they are ffa or ploot but for now, they are not and it is irellevant

You just cant have personal loot as an option… even at the start of the game or what ever… lets say its personal loot but not bounded then that means the boss will drop X amount of loot for every single player in the game… instead of one time loot drop for everyone… afterwards if its all your buddies in the game you can share personal loot? just MF with a full game “locked on personal loot” for some nice and quick juicy drops and MF lmao theres no way

My estimate is 5:1 for adding an option for loot, but it is too many people to count. One anitplooter has posted 30 or more times. I do not want to take the time to go through it all to do it carefully and correctly (e.g. not double counting users).
