Did anyone else find it peculiar that Rhykker did not mention this tweet:
Rhykker definitely supports the addition of optional personal loot and understands that total drops do not change between FFA and personal loot games.

And also doesnt understand how optional ploot will alter economy, community etc. The point where he said “if the item doesnt get looted in lets say 10 seconds, it becomes FFA” was the tipping point where i realized this dude doesnt think things too far.

Rhyker is a D3 kiddie. He’s been doing D3 forever. Most of D3 content I viewed along with news about D3 was from him.
It comes as absolutely no surprise that he can make such grandiose analogies about Act VI and ruining the Mona Lisa, but then goes full derp mode on adding a ploot toggle.
He’s cool enough, but misses the mark about the silliness and game ruining redundancy of allowing 2 loot systems in a remaster.

I know only Rod can answer this but what are your thoughts?
At least Rhykker got the basic Timed Allocation concept right.
That seems unlikely to happen unfortunately. As we have already seen nothing stops that particular train (see above)
I have tried not to discuss those tweets because of how irrelevant they are; but my take:
Rod said Ploot wont happen! The end.
It is a bit unclear if he differentiates between ploot and allocated loot, like rhykker does.
We can try to guess what he meant forever after, but it just doesn’t matter anyway.
Rod also said D2R would support TCP/IP. Until he did not.
No matter if Rod genuinely believe that any type of non-FFA loot system will ever be added to D2R, Blizzard simply have a long history of having some opinion, until they no longer have it. Same with the good old “you think you do, but you don’t”.

Rhykker just needs to fall off the face of the planet… Never have I seen such a sensationalist piece of garbage that purposely inflates small bits of information to manipulate it into something larger (obviously making this up, all news outlets do this and he’s basically the same as most large news outlets). I never cared for his spiel prior to the “Modding scene destroyed” video he made, but after that I haven’t given his content a single look since.

No, it was really just saying the tweeters were fighting against something VV isnt currently planning. Rod doesnt negate the possibility of a plooty future. He didnt actually address the tweets’ deep concerns, really. And Im anti-ploot.

Rhykker lost some point there, trying to sound smart but actually bringing dumb logic to the expansion scenario
Looking at the replies here im waiting impatiently for when Blizzard announces new content to D2R… those purists tears will be so salty and tasteful

but lama has about 10 times as much knowledge and experience as ryker concerning the game.
I don’t care what ANYONE thinks who likes Diablo 3 in any way.
they should have no voice whatsoever in decisions or opinions regarding d2. that doesn’t go well. sound a little aggressive? yes it is.

Do you really wish that Blizzard does such a bad job with D2r that people who played played Diablo 1& hellfire on launch, D2&Lod 1 week before launch with over 10k hours of D2… will be long gone…

We might actually agree on something 
No no, I think he means that the additional content will be such a long ways off, that D2R players that don’t get what they want (non-classic gameplay changes) will be off on Immortal or D4 already.
TBH her face still looks like crap. Not nearly as clean or good as the fan artists ideal look.
