PTR Thank you for ALL of the DH, Necro changes!

Your information is out of date. The game changed dramatically in patch 2.6.7 relative to speed meta.

For push 4 man meta, it is the same as the past 14 seasons with barbs and monks as zDPS.

Cause of a change to one build. No. Zdps Necro is still viable. So is speed dps necro for fast grifts as well.
People did, however, change it to ww Barb for most of it, does not make zdps or speed dps necro a less viable thing.

It was a change to more than one build: AoV crusaders and ww/rend.

Have you played S19 or patch 2.6.7? I have. Things have changed.

Zdps necro is still a thing. So is a speed necro dps.
On top of that, Dh and Wd got no role in it. Since Paragon points and getting the best gear is what you need, if you want to push. Still not viable in that manner.

There are far better options for speeds and zDPS.

Using this logic, all classes are viable if efficiency does not matter.

Perhaps. A good zdps Necro and dpser can always be used. Far more viable than a Dh and Wd.

While this may be true in some cases, my comment was more directed in a general direction of all these forum creepers that post what they believe will fix the game.

Below is a quote from this thread that had me in absolute tears from laughter, about their honest opinion of what Marauder’s needs to be viable and “work right”

Someone needs to slap this guy with the fish he cuddles with at night when he sleeps so he can wake up.

That is 11GRs. It actually would be balanced with top builds, sadly.

As a DH player since the game came out, and necro player as well, I am pretty upset there is zero changes to these 2 classes. That just means another season of playing DH/necro on the side, and grinding with the top tier classes.

Yeah it does seem stupid when you don’t include the 4 piece change as well, but you obviously want to try and create a narrative just to bash someone. Grow up.

That doesn’t make your 6-piece recommendation any less ridiculous. You’re recommending to make M6 do 325000% damage…

You obviously don’t play a DH and see a giant number and think OMG.

The set already gives you 12,000% damage per sentry and you can get 5 sentrys for a total of 60,000%. Then I added 5% to it to get 65,000. This isn’t 325,000 damage. Did you not even read the actual text???

All I did was make it where you get all the damage at once when one sentry is out instead of requiring 5 sentry a to get the full damage boost. The reason I did that was because of the 4 piece change that caused lag, so less sentry’s = less lag.

I interpreted as Adda did, but know that heavy 6pc bonus would allow us to see GR145 M6 cluster bomb clears.

What do you think is going on with N6 Rapid Fire?

Wojhanni * Sin Seekers * N6 = 17,484x
Manticore * M6 (@ 65000% * 5) = 13,004x

While I agree that we need more dps the point of my thread and small buff numbers in my examples was to try and get some kind of buff that is minimal enough to not need a PTR because at this point I don’t see a 3rd version of the PTR happening unless they secretly behind the scenes decided to push some changes through for us after expressing our concerns before season 20.

The lack of DH/Necro changes was unforgivable. Even if new sets weren’t ready, a few 30 second tweak to items would be been fine. barbs did NOT need a new set.

It honestly should not take extensive work to change items from 200% multipliers to 400%.

I know.

Every class will get a set. If it was barb’s turn, it is fine. I just hope that they do not try to get the barb set buffed so much so that it will be stronger than ww/rend (2nd best build in the game at the moment) or take over as RGK.

a 30 second tweak to go from 200% to 400% is a massive tweak, no pieces should get a bonus like that just to appease the masses.

Barbs just got a overhaul last patch, I would have had a new barb sets come LAST.

The Barb set came out because it was ready. Same as WD and Wiz.

I would prefer them to have released the ready sets, than to have held back Barbs and tried to rush out a set that wasn’t ready and make a complete hash of it.

Actually they should have held all sets and released them all together like you do a big patch, or expansion. The way they rolled it out will cause the classes with sets to play, then quit the following patch and repeat.

The only thing that the release of sets at different times has successfully accomplished was splitting the already dwindling D3 player base to all time lows.
