Fact 1 when the PS5 is sideways it sucks in lots of dust. (No idea why other than the shelf is physically closer to the fan. That is a fact that just simply means the fan is closer when the console is close to the physical surface that the dust lands on.
Then after 2 months I tried it vertical.

After having it vertical for 2 months and took the cover off there was less dust. Now I am not a physicist but I think that dust happens this way due to gravity. Lmao.
