Cause if you get muted and it’s more than one time you’ve been muted, you won’t be able to play. There is no news of this socalled bug for over 2 months.
Letting people know, either don’t chat at all or be careful.

How many times are you going to post this? If this is how you are in game, then it is no wonder you were muted.
Or: “Prey to people not reporting you in game”.
How many days do you think Blizzard will ignore people?
How about you post something relevant to the subject instead.
Oh wait. If you were muted and having the same problem, you wouldn’t be talking like that. Just let Blizzard make mistakes and lie to their playerbase, cause harrasing me instead is more fun huh.
Btw. Do you see any blue posters here?
If this problem was occuring for ALL players, you wouldn’t sit here for 60 days without any solutions. I will bet it all that you would sit and rage against blizzard. But oh wait, just cause people got a mute “it’s their own fault”.
Strange enough Blizzard have written it is a mistake from their side but do nothing but lie about fixing it.
So instead of seeing that, you go against me cause you are childish. Better defend blizzard.
The word is intended. Cause you get to be the prey when they lie about fixing the issue.
Then you would lose it all. Because most of us would appeal it instead of coming here and ranting about it…
Like this player did (finally):
How can you lose something if everyone was affected by this?
See Barbarian before buff’ed.
See posts when the servers are down.
Just cause this problem does not affect most of you, doesn’t make it less wrong that Blizzard is lying about it.
After 1-2 mutes, you will get a message saying “we will not look into your appeal”.
So they flat out ignore you.
They’ve admitted this being a problem at their end, but does nothing about it.
Again, if this was affected by more players, rest assure my posts here would have gotten more through.
Until they have actual news about the issue. Right now, there is nothing new to tell you.
The game creation bug is a Blizzard issue. The mute is a player caused issue. You have not been lied to. Blizzard never promised a date for when the bug will be fixed.
Correct. Bugs that impact a large number of players get priority. Game breaking ones especially.
Pointing out a fact (that you have posted many many times about this), and giving an opinion on it is not harassment. It might be rude, but it is not harassing you.
Name calling those who don’t agree with you, or who don’t like your posts, …well that is much closer to harassing folks.
Again. You were not lied to. They will eventually fix the bug. You are not “prey” either. You got yourself muted many times in order to have a duration of 60+ days. You admitted that was your own fault. You are not a victim here.
Reminder of how the penalties stack.
Number | Hours | Days | Years |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 24 | 1 | |
2 | 48 | 2 | |
3 | 96 | 4 | |
4 | 192 | 8 | |
5 | 384 | 16 | |
6 | 768 | 32 | |
7 | 1536 | 64 | |
8 | 3072 | 128 | |
9 | 6144 | 256 | |
10 | 12288 | 512 | 1.4 |
11 | 24576 | 1024 | 2.8 |
12 | 49152 | 2048 | 5.6 |
13 | 98304 | 4096 | 11.2 |
14 | 196608 | 8192 | 22.4 |
15 | 393216 | 16384 | 44.9 |
16 | 786432 | 32768 | 89.8 |
The logs of the chat are attached to your penalty in the system. It takes no time at all to look those over. It also takes no time at all to see that you have appealed before, had it upheld. The eventually get to the point they are tired of you asking. The answer remains no. Asking over and over wastes their time and yours.
That is not name calling, that is calling out my opinion of that persons behavior.
When I was in contact with support, they told me it could be fixed right after halloween last year. 2 other times, I was told “it was soon”.
To which is lying.
Over 60 days without a fix is not about “them looking into it”. Cause then it would have been solved. In which is lying as well.
Minor playerbase hit by this or not, this should have been fixed last year. Over 3 months now and nothing is not how you should treat your playerbase.
The CS folks are not in possession of the time schedule for bug fixes. They can’t give you an accurate estimate. “Soon” is a generic term in this case - meaning it will get fixed eventually.
Absolutely not lying. You are making huge assumptions that the bug is easy to fix and you are forgetting it takes both the Classic Team and the Battlenet team.
I am going to ask you a difficult question. What priority do you think this bug has been given - considering it impacts a group who was muted for repeatedly breaking the rules? In the past Blizzard used to perma ban repeat offenders totally.
It will get fixed when it gets fixed. There is no estimate on when that will be. Yes, I have asked about it before directly.
This shouldn’t even be considered a bug, but a feature. There is no reason to fix it. If you are this obnoxious in game, then a ban, rather than a mute, is an appropriate punishment.
Maybe it will finally teach you to behave better, since it seems prior mutes haven’t.
One supporter did write this, hence lying.
If this issue cannot be fixed for over 60 days, you should consider hiring someone who knows their stuff.
This issue will not be fixed since it is not even looked upon.
Let me ask you this. If a similar issue was occuring for you and others, do you think being lied to and waiting for over 60 days would you having the patient and still believing that “this will be fixed”?
I hardly think so. And the entire tablet of how many days you are muted for does nothing here.
They’ve admitted it is a bug on their end, then fix it.
One , 2 weeks maybe I could understand. But for over 60 days, no way.
And perhaps you should read the thread that lead to this post. They’ve admitted it is an error on their end. A mute is not a ban. Learn the difference.
Just cause you are being told otherwise for your strange comment here does not make me obnoxius and the only reason now you are replying is to keep a flamewar going.
Reported and ignored.
You need to go back and read what I posted again. You totally missed it.
Better still, don’t bother.
Again, you are not being lied to and this is not something easy to fix. If it was, it would be fixed already.
I have been supportive of you in many threads/posts because you largely were being level headed and I understood your frustration with the bug. I have personally talked to Blizz about this, on your behalf even - to ask about the bug, not about your account. Blizzard does not discuss account actions with anyone but the account holder.
Accusing Blizzard, and me, of lying, because you have not gotten what you want yet, is trying my patience. I get less sympathetic with each accusation you make and less likely to try to follow up. I don’t work for Blizzard. I don’t get any compensation - just green text.
You really need to stop it with the whole “they don’t even look at it” and “they are lying” thing.
Again, how will I lose anything when Blizzard literally tells you “you cannot appeal after 2 mutes”.
That is not an option for some, since that is their rules , hence people cannot play until they fix their issue, in which they are not trying to.
Do enlighten me then. I was messaging support, since bug reports on here don’t get blue replies, I was told “it should be looking like it will be fixed after Halloween”. And 2 other messages saying about the same thing with other dates.
That is flat out lying.
Telling “they are looking into it” is lying, if they are not. Cause over 60 days should have resulted in something, otherwise you should have someone else that can actually fix it, to look at it.
The entire “priority” thing should not even be mentioned. Ofc. they can do whatever they want to, but I don’t see a reason why this couldn’t have been handled before the end of s19.
At least keep an update.
Again, I will ask you this. If a similar issue with something you would like to do, was occuring at your place, would you find it reasonable to be told for over 60 days, “we don’t have anything”… WHEN they actually want to reply to you?
There is a difference in being patient for 2 weeks and for several months.
There might not be many left at D3 department, but this action went from “oh I think I can get to play soon’ish” to “this issue will not be fixed and they are just waiting for peoples mutes to pass”.
And a reminder, I never wrote about you lying.
And I do appreciate what you have been doing / advocating.
But again, weeks are going by and nothing is done. Just tell how it is then. A simple “we cannot fix this, we urge you to wait it out” or something.
You’re confusing 2 different statements I made.
You said: “I will bet it all…”
I’m thinking: [Bet it all on what?]
You continued: “…that you would sit and rage against blizzard.”
And I replied (in so many words): That you would lose it all. (All that you bet). Because we would not “sit and rage against blizzard”, as you are doing in this thread.
If nobody could play D3 for over 60 days, I KNOW people would rage. Just like at Blizzcon when they announced mobile game.
Just look at how people are raging when some classes have gotten nothing/no buffs etc.
Let’s close down the game for over 60 days, let Blizzard write “we are on it”, and see how people react.
So again, I will lose nothing.
Why not make a group of your friends to pay with. This way you know they will except your mute worthy ways without getting banned from the game. ( still waiting to see the out come of a lawsuit on if these bans are legal, as they prevent the use of a product that is bought and paid for) I know a few lawyers are looking at it.
Blizzard may terminate any account without reason and you have agreed to forfeit anything you have invested in the account without legal recourse.
If your argument is that you paid for something, and you are not getting what you paid for, all they have to do is terminate your account, and the problem is legally solved because you agreed to this when you purchased the game.
See: Blizzard End User License Agreement - Legal – Blizzard Entertainment
You do know that most TOS are not legally enforceable right? ITs like the warranty if void sticker on most things. Its a scare tactic.
I know what the TOS says. Unlike many I read it first before agreeing to something. I also have spent a bit of time in a business law class. While I admit I most of it is above me. Many of the people that have gone one to practice Business law are still up in the air about it. With the speed tech is moving the laws are having a hard time keeping up.
As for deleting the account. A new account is easy and cheap. And all you lose is a little time. Boo hoo.
Have anything to back that up? I am pretty sure they would not spend millions of dollars on lawyers if it were all pointless.
When you get before a judge, and he asks if you installed the game, he will throw your case out, because you waived all your rights when you installed it.
