But for God’s sake, Blizzard, what was it hard for you to add one of the most important features in recent years to the eternal realm/Non-Season? Yes, they nerfed it to the core, but the QoL nodes are very important for the game.

I’ll bet the Altar turns on for NS at the same time it turns on for Season 30.
Wait until the season starts before jumping the gun. If it doesn’t turn on for NS, come back and say “I told you so! Nana nana boo boo!”
It'd be really nice if there was an OFFICIAL ANNOUCEMENT FROM BLIZZARD TO CLEAR THIS UP. AND NOT SOME GARBAGE TWEET EITHER... SOMETHING HERE IN THE *OFFICIAL* FORUMS!!!

I am guessing the staff that got the short straw to come back after new years to release the patch notes and the patch has gone back on leave.
What would be funny would be if the altar isn’t activated for seasons too.
Why would they hang out with scum they already own? You would have to care to even think about that.
You prob dont care that you been lied to, We get it. Even if its not fully on purpose there should be some type of statement as of we know now… Nothing and when we look back on twitter we seen what was said and its not lining up with what’s going on

The fact that everything has been kept ambiguous since the beginning and then no communication at all afterwards kinda tells me it was never intended to be added to NS for no real reason, they knew a lot of people were going to think that was 
and they didn’t care.
Sad. And completely unnecessary.
Hopefully it really is a tech issue or timing issue, but I doubt it. We’ll see. This would also require communication which they don’t want to do

I really don’t see that post as being positive for Blizzard.
The patch notes have certainly been ambiguous, but the launcher page seems pretty clear:
"Rites of Sanctuary and Visions of Enmity are here to stay
These 2 features from past seasons are now permanent additions to Diablo III. Try them out in Patch 2.7.7 today!"

all versions of the game and then rewords it like others have pointed out then say its its a misunderstanding when this went through a test for PTR they basically lied to their entire player base blizzard are a bunch of whales only care for the foundation of money and lieing to everyone else.

Some swan song.
I would have done some NS grinding with the altar and such, as recycled seasons aren’t as appealing, but this sort of spells the end of D3 for me.
Hard to put the genie back in the bottle - they spoiled me.

I am feeling the same way. I don’t want to unlock the altar every three months just to keep using it. Hell,i never wanted to do seasons 100% of the time in the first place. I stuck it out to get the stash tabs, and then for the cosmetics and the social aspect as my clan were all there.
Well, they don’t have new cosmetics and my clan have moved to D4. I have no interest in D4. And i wanna spend time in NS which is what i originally preferred to play. Adding altar and fissures there would have made this the perfect way to close out my D3 experience.
But alas, we cannot have nice things.
