Must be bad luck all day bad gear drops and zero petrified

Happened to me on EU SSF. Was nearly p700 before my first scream dropped. Eventually I got enough to wrap up the altar and season by p1100 but it was frustrating as hell.

I’ve had really horrid luck… like 0 for 70 on crafting an Ancient Hellfire. That’s a 1 in 2000 kind of thing. And I’ve had it happen twice. Ugh.

But it’s not a bug, it’s just lousy design that there isn’t a grace system in place to prevent that experience. It pisses players off for no good reason.

Look Am Happy for you But there is something wrong with the program that simple you can try to defend but yet you don’t hold water, if you are a programmer, and not know what going on with the program and thing are not working as it should nocking on door time for a wake up, you can say its the way it was set up bro how you figure at the start they was dropping like water and now is what

I agree the design is horrid but given the product is now purely in maintenance mode there’s no way they’re going to fix something as fundamental as this.

And they look at the stats for thousands (or even millions on games like WoW) and see their stats match their expectations on average. They’ve openly stated they don’t care about individual players having massive problems. They know it happens. They don’t care. They’ve got your money and you quitting actually improves their bottom line.

Why are worrying about petrified screams? Once you get the altar and season journey done they kinda become worthless. Yes people like to do them for the loot and the gem. But with this season you really done need them with the shard gems.

The ancients have always been hard to get some times. Not just this season it has been that way for a long time. I find it the harder you try to get something in the game the longer it takes you to get it.

You really want to know how bad this game is. There was one time I spent 1 billion in gold trying to get a stat on a piece of gear. Plus I never got what I wanted too. This game is coming up to what 12 yrs old. You really think they are going to fix anything here after this season good luck on that one.

Sorry for your luck. But this is a game where it takes some luck to get what you get.

Better check your bot program. It probably isn’t picking stuff up.

I have played like 5 hours the last 3 days. I have gotten 2 screams and tons of ancients. Useful ancients, not really, but that how the game is set up.

Either you are fibbing about your play time, don’t have cheat software set up right, or there is a Blizz conspiracy where they have singled out a handful of people and are jamming them cuz reasons.

hear we go here comes one of the none educated talking out from their backside

bro they have it set up that way instead of using gem you can use petrified am I right

If you want augments over 125, you need legendary gems or Whispers of Atonement.

Like I said. I am doubting you are playing non-stop 3 days straight (72 hours).
What is the actual play time over the last 3 days? How much of that is GRS? How fast are you running the GRs.

and let me ask you this ask me if I care what you think, what funny ask Blizzard to fix our profile so that instead of talking from your backside you can check instead of flapping your gums cluelessly

I worked in a Las Vegas Casino for 21 years and saw all kinds of luck streaks, both good and bad. Parts of this game are a slot machine simulator and is not rigged, bugged or faulty. As Kadala says, “Luck always changes.”
No need to be rude , and pardon my red nose and big shoes.

Not Being rude just don’t need to hear from Clueless, I have worked as a master mechanic for 30 years, and I know when a program is screwed up and not working properly when they post that is supposed to work in a certain way, that how it should go. perfect example tesla drives on battery but should not go up in flames but it does

That is not the same as pseudo random number generators such as are used in slot machines or this game. Bad luck is still bad luck.

they have been having bad luck in every game that they have including Diablo, maybe that’s why Activision bailed

If you don’t like games with a luck factor, play chess.

i had almost every game that Blizzard has until I started seeing people bailing because of a lack of games not working properly, and I have given up every game instead of this one maybe one day they can fix it properly, because even diablo 4 failed so am not spending a dime on that game

I am playing this Season in HC on all 3 regions on two accounts. I have gotten Primals, Ancients, and Screams which I dare not use. Right now, one of my toons cannot get a Ramaladni.
Am I frustrated? Yes. Am I complaining? No.
I’ll trade you 6 Screams for a Ramaladni. ROFL.

bro am not Complaining, what am doing is Stating what not working, simply call it a bug, or a program issue, Whatever the case is, it’s not working like it is supposed to how they posted, they should of just say its a dice roll things may work or not take your chance lol am I right

Who posted? Blizzard? I think not. There has never been an official statement about drop rates, only by players with far better statistical analysis skills than I have.
There was a saying in Vegas that the worst thing that could happen is to get Jackpots on your first visit. Then, you think it is always supposed to be that way.
Yes, I do understand the Distribution Curve.

this season’s altar is up when the altar is done two primal should drop, petrified drops instead of using gems you can use, all the legendary soul shards which some drop more than others another issue

They do say it’s a “die roll” though they state it like “There’s a 5% chance (that word is important) of getting a Petrified Scream in any Greater Rift”. It does NOT mean that after 200 rifts you’ll have 10 keys. It means on a Gaussian probability distribution you’re about 68% likely to have 10 keys. But it is entirely possible to have 40 keys or none.

That you’re in the tiny minority with very few keys is a bummer. But it does NOT mean the game is broken. Badly designed? Maybe. But not broken. So your constant rehashing of the topic sounds a lot like whining. And ignorance as to how randomness works.
