Who said knowing about white rings makes you an old school player? Means you played diablo 2: lod, thats all it means. What nonsense have you come back with this time? You are relentlessly ignorant. Who are you having a conversation with? Some invisible entity?
Larry, since you’ve come here, you’ve been attacking strawman. Using that word just proves you have no idea of the meaning. Christ, feel like i’m losing brain cells talking too you at this point. Saying 1.09 was the most popular era of the game is crazy too me. Diablo 2:LoD for 5 years had it’s most popular era, the game was industry breaking, it didn’t come in anything significant to define as waves or era’s.
You seem from the beginning to know very little about the game, while projecting that at me, and you can say all you want in your next weird little post, but all it takes is for someone to take 10-15 minutes, and read from the beginning. Right then and there, you are sold out, attacking strawman.
We are in the same trap as before d3 came out. Let’s not argue with these people who only played D2 offline and left it when they got to hell. These people have not played D2, the real one, in their life. And they (and us) will get another Diablo game out without a soul, without trading and without pvp.
Let’s focus on the important thing: to convey to Blizzard what made D2: LoD the best game in history for many, and that was mostly freedom in terms of trading and also quite a lot in terms of PVP.
Diablo’s heart was always that.
