[Main Thread] Problem Loading Game License Code 395000 / Error 300016

Same here. Got back in and now my character is gone. Not deleted, just gone.

I agree same problem but europe server worked…

I just bought the game because my wife plays it, and I can’t even play due to a 300016 error, not cool, hope they fix this soon, I loved Diablo II, wanna love Diablo III, but this is a bad first impression…

As soon as pressing start game the game closes immediately. If you open up task manager and double click on diablo 3 retail then click on the drop down diablo 3 it will bring me back to play the game as long as you don’t quit the session or mess with the options the game window wont close if it does repeat steps. It’s the only way i could play this game. I re installed the game/battlenet app tried the stupid turn windows firewall nothing solved the problem but opening task manager and re opening the game that way. no other game has this problem it’'s the battle net app problem. needs fixing asap.

Hey everyone just wanted to say I was having the same login issues as everyone else. I went through and read the comments and tried turning my firewalls off, adding exceptions to anti-virus, trying to run it on 32 bit mode, made sure all my drivers were up to date, but none of that worked. Well I read that people were having success with launching the game and then closing the battle net app. THIS SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY “FIX” THAT HAS WORKED FOR THE MOST PEOPLE. So all I did was launch the game soon as it give the error I just alt tab, opened up task manager and closed it on there. I didn’t logout of the app like other people were I just closed it and manually typed in my login. Not sure why this is working. Clearly an issue with the blizzard app

I finally got the game to work. I had all my heros. Decided to start fresh with a new hero. I made it to LVL 9 and then I got disconnected. Now i’m getting a new code 395002 saying it can’t find my hero and it won’t load game again…

Same as my account. I got 395002 error when I was LVL 9 as well. :joy:

Also having the 395000 issue. Disabled all firewalls. Tried DNS, tried alt tabbing, closing the battle.net client and using the d3 login a dozen times. no luck.

I’m having the same issue… all my characters are gone and i’m unable to log into US server

So the problem appears to be limited to the Battle.net launcher and not so much the game. I tried the workaround myself where you close the launcher and try to login to the game, Mine finally connected after about 7 tries

Update: I tried several times to log in manually with no luck. I then tried switching regions and the only one available to me was North America. So I clicked “Apply” and tried logging in again. Bam! I was in. Not sure why it was not working.

I’m having the same issues - have completely uninstalled and reinstalled - still no go when it tries to retrieve hero list.

I am unable to login and get this error message too. Tomorrow is Season hope its fixed, but doubt it will be.

It looks like its account based. my friend can log onto my computer with his account and it works fine wtf.

it probably has something to do with last login. Most people with the issue are from older accounts that are trying to return to the game.

Are you still working on this Blizz? I’m getting the license error also.

I can play on Euro servers just fine oddly enough.

Same issue here , havent logged on in years, account cant find characters

395000 is clearly a backend issue with characters missing, no amount of traceroute is going to fix it, but I appreciate the runaround.

Have one of your engineers call me, they can have my password and see that it’s just as broke on their machines because this is an ACCOUNT issue not a connectivity problem.
