I also have same problem and it is happening on all non-seasonal characters. I am unable to get to public GRs for 4 days or more. Only Rifts.
Character Name : Account - Allucard / Every Character
• Character Type (Seasonal, Hardcore, Etc) : Non season softcore
• Game Mode/Difficulty the issue is experienced in : Grift t16
• Does it happen on other character types (Example, non seasonal if you’re playing seasonal) : Only play on non-season.

Until they fix this how about everyone join T15 pub grifts? Seems only T16 is bugged.

i cant join the public greater rift mode, i can join rifts and bounties, but im having this 2 errors in grs (there was a problem searching for a public game, code 24004) and then shows another error message (there was a problem joining the game (code 24004) im having this issue like 2 weeks ago, and cant joing public grs

Well i think developer get what they need for bug but they don’t want to fix it . Its already 1 week still cannot resolve bug . I hope there is no covid19 virus in diablo 3.

I am in Canada and i have been getting an 24004 error mesages for going on 10 days now . It happens with all of my characters. can you please fix this as i can’t do multi-player GF any more.

- Does this happen on a different character? - Only have 1 character, non-seasonal.
T16 Greater Rift public games are inaccessible. Anything below T16 is fine.
Online/appearing offline status does not affect the issue. - Does this happen on an alternative connection or VPN? - Yes. tried cellular hotspot, same result.

im in the north american servers.
happens on all characters
all types on t16 public have not tried lower ones.
i can watch netflix so i know its not my internet.
i can see there are public games just cant join them.

Can not enter public greater rifts at Torment XVI (T16) for the past 4 days.
“There was a problem searching for a public server (code 24004)”
Then it says,
“There was a problem joining the game. (code 24004)”
Some feedback would be nice as to whether you have identified the problem or not, found a solution or not, or dont care because most folk are playing season

We’re making sure that our Diablo 3 team is getting all of the info that is needed to resolve this. It is still being investigated though. Updates in the form of blue posts may be slow, since we don’t have an ETA to provide.

I cannot join any public server. error code 24004. It has been like this all week, sort of frustrating.
Why does it seem like I am chasing my tail with this problem? Can blizzard fix 24004 error problem or not? If you can please do, If not then say so.
