If that’s the solution, then they should have in-game support for clans.
And he also told he would never implement ploot for d2r xD. Micro Micro. Half information as always.
Sure buddy. Don’t hold your breath.
How about giving you all the seasons with your legacy ffa-loot?
We can just keep it as an option. You can still play it until the end of days.
Your prayers have been answered. No need to speak lowly of other people anymore.
Rejoice!
Any source for that?
That is not true.
You are referring to this youtube video. David Brevik clearly states that Blizzard could introduce instanced/personal loot in D2R, but he said that it makes sense that they should keep FFA loot in the game.

Stop with your misinformation.
Here is a tweet if you do not want to look at that video from David Brevik on February 20.
Here is a tweet from David Brevik on Feb 20,2021 right after the Blizzcon D2R announcement.
David Brevik on Twitter: “They could add modern things like: Instanced loot, auto-gold-pick-up, remove the stamina bar, all sorts of stuff. It looks like they are not making many changes, but I didn’t believe it would be exactly the same game and it isn’t.” / Twitter
Do you honestly think there will be enough continued interest to segregate portions of the player base depending upon whether or not they want instanced loot?
You know, you don’t really see the full effect of the gradually increased hand-holding of players over the years until you throw them into a legacy game and they burst into tears.
You have shown today already enough times the definition of misinformation. xD A good sleep would help for you.

Getting more players is not segretation. It is inclusion.
And having fair loot is not hand-holding. It is being fair.
I think 20 years of ninja-looting have been getting a bit into your head, bud. Play something else for a minute. Get some perspective.

He literally provided you a video + audio interview of the creator of diablo 2, saying exactly what he claims he said.
What is misinformation about that?
Having said that…

… it is a 1:5x:xx long video. Maybe a timestamp would be helpful.

You will likely lose more players than you would gain by implementing pLoot.
Also, I haven’t played D2 in close to 10 years now. The beta is glorious though (aside from a couple quirks).
Sigh, these endless qq threads popping about personal loot just proves how casual games and gamers have become. We really need game’s like D2 back in 2k21. Free for all loot is one of the core parts of D2 and changing it would destroy the game and its identity. There are games like D3 you know, for people who wanna swim in loot and not compete for it at all, or people who play 2h per week, and feel bad if they dont get every single piece of gear in the game, with their playtime…
Is pvp next it the “to go list”, yeah it feels bad when somone turns hostile and kills you in public game…
Anyway D2 doesnt need personal loot, why you ask? because it doesnt really support the way the game is played. In D2 public games are mostly only for experience, no one joins them for loot. Loot is hunted (mf:ed) in private games solo, or with friends, when you will get every piece of loot that drops. Making personal loot for D2 would be 100% wasted effort, time and money from the devs.
There a huge amount of people, who will complain about free loot and other things, because they didnt get this and that while they were leveling at normal difficulty. Most of those people will never reach hell difficulty, dont see the end game, or what the game is all about, because they got bored and quit playing the game after first week. This game is just not designed for the casual gamer of 2k20’s, simple as that. Some will like it, some will not.
I wont be playing this game 24/7 because im old now too, i propably wont be hitting the end game gear that often with my playtime and so on. Im not complaining, i cant wait to get to experience D2 again, and fresh and clean start, without stupid amounts of spam, bots, duped items, hacks and all that s***. Something we havent seen in 20 years, since the launch of og game. Cant freaking wait.
I find it fascinating considering how many times D3 fanboys have told D2 players to go back and play D2 if they don’t like D3.
Regardless this is really insightful to see the screaming and kicking of these hand-held “gamers” of the modern era crying because “its not fair” (because player A might be “closer to the server” with better ping than player B).
jani is a know troll of the forum, even me that is new to this forum can confirm it. The best is just ignore this keyboardemowarriormadkid to avoid wasting time
His earlier comments about what he would changed in D2 if he could go back in time are linked here. This includes his tweets and a twitch video.
To see the tweet and twitch video you can go here to see how he would change D2/D2:LoD if he could.

Troll translation: Who dont want ploot into d2r where nobody ever told it comes. Very weak mah dude.
In conclusion, 95% of the players base prefers a balanced and fair loot system AKA ploot, basically everyone except people that thinks the drop rates are gona change which is not true, the reates gona be the same number, old purist that abuse ping and just play the game for ninja loot instead to have fun, and the last kind of players are the emo ones, they want to make others experience in game bad

Any source for that? Or you mean the playerbase who are crying at forum and telling that they refund the game cus its stays as ffa as it was earlier also? xD
just play the game for ninja loot
Looks like you dont even know what FFA means.
they want to make others experience in game bad
You get 1.14 experience with small QoL as it was promised.
That is not true.
Cus i not going to watch 2 hour video again lets say you’re right. That dosent change the fact that ploot was never promised or anybody told that you get ploot.
This is 100% speculation on your part.
People get asked questions and either dont answer the question or answer it based on context outside the question asked. All the time.
“He clearly misspoke” is nonsense. He clearly talked around the question of how they will combat duping. Duping affects the economy of the game, he talked about other changes that affect the economy of the game.
Companies generally dont talk about How they plan to stop exploits and hacks in specific terms.
Your notion that the Devs dont know what game design lingo he is using is laughable.
If the dev misspoke, the company has had many more interviews and opportunities to clarify the comment and haven’t. That points more to the comments were not misspoken by the dev being interviewed.
Your constant moving of the goal post about this interview is sad. Dev said no to ploot and changing loot systems. You move goal post “Dev Misspoke” you have Zero evidence for this lol.
This is 100% speculation on your part.
It is common sense. I think that I actually at some point wrote out an exact word for word transcript of this part and posted it on the forum. My recollection (now admittingly foggy) is that no one disagreed except one forum member.
