Ahh makes sense now. Was like huh? Lol.

Maybe you are having some early form of dementia, but your posting history tells a different story.

Yup. Obvious campaigning while complaining other other people are complaining (when ironically there have been little to none pro-ploot spam threads around for days already). Seems like some people just need to whine from the top of their lungs.

Exactly, since the twitter that it will be discussed after launch things have quieted down. Except for the constant “I was this then I was this”

ah, the ppl will walk with Bots for own loot?

plotters would also want to remove hostile button/ and add kick button…there’s nothing we haven’t seen lul

I have only ever seen it suggested as an option at game creation, and while I would pick FFA games, I don’t see a problem with it being an option.

I haven’t seen anyone advocate for this. Have seen people discuss making pvp consensual. So, at least comment on what they’re actually saying, not misrepresenting it to ridicule something they didn’t say in the first place. Strawman much?

To be fair some have asked for a kick option. But there is no consensus on it. I for instance think it is not that usable (either easily abusable or only usable in edge cases (see d3)).

Anyways, he said that all plooters would want it and that is simply a blatant lie. As usual from that post-person. Strawman indeed.

I used to be indifferent towards Ploot, now I just don’t care.

I was indifferent to personal loot till beta. Then during beta, I got to play with FFA loot, and ploot started looking more and more appealing. Then Beta ended, and I played Diablo 2 LoD Original, and got into some games. Man those guys click on loot even faster, really missed personal loot at that time. Was almost ready to pop over to forums and be like “Man, personal loot would be good.”

But then something magical happened. I remembered this is a game where you have interact with the community. So I did. All of a sudden, we were working together for loot, and FFA became something helpful, rather than a hindrance. FFA also started to become alot more fun once I started interacting with the other players in the game.

FFA works really well with the D2 community, as long as you interact with the community. Let’s be honest, this game is fun because of not just the game, but the community as well. So we should be interacting with the community. So let’s keep it FFA, and interact with the community

See what happens when you create a thread showing VV/Blizz are considering changes after release? All the “purists” make threads filled with flat out lies and misinformation to justify their mindset.

A vast majority of the ploot people I see posting here do not want to remove FFA. In fact, I haven’t seen anyone asking for that. Almost everyone I’ve seen in favor of ploot want it on a toggle.

The overwhelming consensus was to add Ploot as an option with FFA loot.

I don’t recall anyone saying to remove FFA loot.

Please don’t fearmonger.

If someone spreads false information, it is the plooters! You claim that everyone is running around with pickit. You claim that nothing will change. You claim it won’t harm the economy. You claim that FFA would invite you to leech. You claim the 2 second rule doesn’t matter.

In truth, a fraction of one percent is running around with pickit. Ploot will change the economy because a lot fewer items are picked up, because each player sees a lot fewer items. Why should you still actively participate in the fighting when you can chill out without paying attention to the game and let the others do it because you are guaranteed to get the items anyway? No player waits 2 seconds after each monster kill to check what items got left behind and if they do, it slows down the flow of the game tremendously!

You talk to each other nicely without thinking about the consequences and claim in every thread that there would be no negative reasons for ploot at all, although people call you them again and again, only to claim 1-2 posts later, that we ploot opponents would only write that you should just play D3.

Actually, the topic was declared over by the devs. But you few just keep opening new threads, spamming like crazy, hoping they’ll give up at some point. Seriously, you guys make me sick.

This. ploot should be an option, and separate from those who still want FFA. They can coexist!

Well technically they wouldn’t be coexisting, but just sticking the toxic players in the FFA loot category and sticking people who want to play the game in Ploot category.

It would be dividing the community for the better technically.

More lies. Pickit was an issue in D2LoD.
Explain how things will change if it’s on a toggle. Explain how the economy will suffer if there’s no change in drop rates.

FFA people told plooters we just want to leech so we showed how FFA allows leeching because you don’t have to participate to collect loot.

I don’t even know what the 2 second rule is.

So again, more FFA purist misinformation.

What else do I have to explain? Just read my post! LESS ITEMS GETTING PICKED UP! Not just uniques, also rare items or even blues like monarchs, javalins, circlets, etc. all these items have the possibility to be endgame gear. God how stupid can people be?

Naw you gotta explain it cuz all your complaints are made up nonsensical lies. xD

Ploot has NO place in Diablo 2. It takes away from the true experience and makes it watered down. Feel free to put it in D4… but not D2.
