I saw this from Wyatt Cheng

Maybe he will reveal the actual drop rates for legendary gems and announce that dawning echo is no longer cash only and can reasonably be attained with a proper amount of grinding? To prove the game is not pay to play and pay to win. Yeah very likely not!

Avalon, tell us what happened on the podcast.

Wyatt talked about the servers, when you log in to the game any server that is marked with green will have room. When the servers start to fill up, the ones with room will move to the top. Also, some people will be able to log in on the 1st. It appears that you cannot play Immortal 100% solo, some content will require you to team up. If you are not interested in that content, you do not have to play it, but you will be missing out on some of the game’s features. They will be adding a lot more content to include new classes on a regular basis. They are really pushing war bands and clans.

Honestly anyone who thought it was possible was in for an awakening.

He did say they want to expand the story. They also think it is best to get your gear from actually playing the game and not having people just giving it to you. It appears that if you have friends that you run with on a regular basis you will all need to join the same server. So, you might need to log in together before that server gets full. They do not sell XP. No pets in Immortal right now. They will do a server merge and transfer at some point, as the player numbers start to drop off.

I think you should be allow to shared gears crafting mats between all your characters.

I only play 100% solo, so I guess this game will not be for me :frowning:

This would be a better compromise for D4. No trading but a shared chest with your clan that you can only give/take 1 item.

No offense, but what part of DI being an MMO did you think you’d beable to 100% solo all content?

What parts are not soloable? The worldbosses I guess, anything else? Is there like a “groupfinder” in the game?

I don’t know if D:Immortal will have world bosses (they prob do), but the game will have bona fide raids that require at least 8 players. In fact I believe that there are some pve raids that have 48 players take part in.

If it’s only raids it’s not to bad as soloplayer, unless they are needed for character progression after a certain point.

Okay, good to know. I assume you will not be playing D4?

3 more days! Exciting week!

Raids and obviously PvP.

I believe there is a group finder. ICBW.

Awesome if that is the case, yeh pvp… that was fun when I was in my 20’s… now I am in my 40’s and don’t like it :stuck_out_tongue:

It appears that the PvP revolves around two factions fighting each other for control. The Immortals vs the Shadows. The 3rd group are the adventures who basically just want to explore and fight demons. Most solo players might be within this group. If you do not want to PvP it appears that a solo player still has a lot of things, you can do. Some have said that is you solo you still should join the shadows because they get some special rewards that a basic adventurer does not receive.
