I mean it was easy to see on paper that it wouldn’t work out well so I’m not surprised at the actual live result at all. If hydra heads didn’t die at all then it would actually be competitive with LoN.
It was an LoD Hydra build that cleared GR150 solo.
The set itself has a bug, the damage you take even with shield is causing hydra heads to die. This was already labeled as not inteneded and should be fixed soon. But even if this was fixed it looks like LoD version will be better, its a mockery to the set that was specifically made for Hydra build lol.
When i saw patch notes with set description, i thought about rathma/singularity builds. Necro is glascannon with Rath, but skeletons attacks are one shot all and kill the boss without striken
I thought, new set could be similiar with rath, cause of that mechanic of “head lose”. But we need huuuuuge damage for that to play it really in range attack zone
Singularity necro is one of truely range builds in d3.
If hydra wiz will be melee one, head-lose mechanic is wrong, i agree.
