How To Choose A Different Server in The Same Region

I’d like to be able to move to a different server, in the same region.
Is this possible or is there only one Server, per region?

There are server pools that you can specify in the battle.net app.

Americas region has 3 servers worldwide: NA, SA and AU. Asia has 2 servers: KR, and TW EU has 1 server. Geographically, MY should be closer to AU and therefore you should choose Americas. Asia servers should be second choice. (Best way is to test them yourself.) I don’t know if the launcher will connect you to AU by default. If not, you can add an argument to force it to. The following is a list of argument corresponding to each region/server. If you use a wrong argument, you’ll get an error…

Thank you. I was really hoping that one could move to better loot pool or default map selection.
I’m trying to push a 148 & hopefully a 149, with my DH, but when I finally get a some what doable map, and grouping 3 or 4 bosses, the first shrine I’m seeing is a Channeling, which is an instant rip.

The loot pool and map selection on other servers are likely governed by the same RNG as the one you are playing.
The main reason to change is for a better connection to your location.

I play both NA & EU servers and there really no change. Years ago when Diablo 3 came out. People believe the if you tried to change severs you have a chance to get better stuff. It never really worked.
